Abe the CEO was nowhere to be found after the papers were signed.
The project started Sept 2019 and supposedly was finished June 2020. We were promised 2 1/2 to 3 months tops. The crew did work through COVID of which we appreciated. We were promised a top notch construction crew. I still have holes in my dining room ceiling because of multiple bathroom leaks that occurred from a terrible bathtub installation. I still have unfinished tile work around the skirting of the bathtub because we had to get at the faulty plumbing installation of the bathtub fixtures. I still have kitchen tiles moving and creaking because of not providing a proper undercoat before tiling. He and his company do not care. Don’t be fooled by the initial greeting and presentation - the charm disappears after the papers are signed. Don’t be fooled by the numerous excuses when complaining of the poor workmanship. We are still waiting for the final binder as he promised we would be receiving. I just want my house finished. No photos uploaded because you will just laugh if you see them.

Great people at GTAGC Homes! I had a vision for my new home and they definitely delivered. My wife and I are very happy with the results. From the moment we first spoke, I knew that they were the team for us. Their level of knowledge and experience is unmatched and the design team was incredibly creative. I told them what we wanted and they made it happen! There are a lot of “General Contractors” around but not many companies have the resources of an established and quality firm like GTAGC. We worked with Daniel who recommended Saba as our architect. She helped us develop the layout and helped us decide on a really great plan. Daniel also chose Jose as our site supervisor which was the best thing that could have happened. He was truly amazing through it all and helped us navigate very unfamiliar issues. His workmanship and ideas were truly inspired and we are thrilled with the final result. It was a 5 month process that had many ups and downs. Daniel tried to guide us through but we would say to always double check the numbers ahead. We didn't realize how much extra would be required to get the job done to our satisfaction and that was extremely stressful. We decided not to compromise and are very happy with the result.

I researched several companies before deciding to go with GTA. There were definitely cheaper quotes out there. However, GTA was the most professional in all the companies I met. I was adding a living room addition to my house. Daniel came in and gave me a realistic quote. He assured me that he would keep within my set budget. I am pleased that the job got done within the promised price. There were set-backs and delays, but I've come to realize that in this industry those are things that cannot be controlled. Overall the workmanship was good. The workers were professional. It was difficult to communicate with the daily works as they only spoke Turkish, but the site manager Sermet was always there to answer questions and explain each part. They offer a guarantee and warranty their work, and to date they have honored all of that. For example, the brick work on the patio outside has begun to sink (this is due to the earth settling. The company has promised to come back in Spring to fix this once the earth has completely hardened and settled). My next project will adding on the second floor on top of my current extension and I would have no hesitation to hire GTA again. IF there is any advice in working with them is that they insist on using their own architect. Be sure to ask her a lot of questions as she will only spend just a minimal time with you and then draw the plans. If you are someone who just wants someone else to design your project than that's fine. But if you are like me and have very specifics wants and needs than be sure to be upfront about this with the architect as she is not one to "go the extra mile" for you. That said, GTA is fantastic and Daniel and Sermet are great people to work with. I'm enjoying my new space and it is worth every penny I spent on it.

My wife loves to cook and bake. However, the walk through kitchen we had was small, outdated, and not very functional. We had discussed the option of selling our house to buy another that had a bigger kitchen in a similar mature area with great neighbours. We quickly came to realize that such dream homes would not come without a hefty price tag. Therefore, we decided to stay in our home and give it a major facelift.

We met Daniel Syrus at the 2016 Fall Home Show in TO representing GTA Contractors. We were very new to the renovation world and had many questions regarding the process and product options required for a successful renovation. Daniel was very patient, courteous, professional, and easy to talk to....great first impression! Daniel definitely played a big part in our decision to hire GTA for our kitchen transformation after review multiple quotes and careful consideration.

Our renovation experience did not come without unexpected its challenges and issues. However, Daniel stayed true to his promised and work through all challenges and issues to resolution. The end result was fantastic and an exact match to our vision from the floor, to the cabinetry, to back splash, the lighting, the huge island and the colour of the walls.

I found this company thru internet when I was planning to renovate my kitchen only. after I put my info thru internet the company called me right away for the meeting. first I met Daniel who came to my home to look. what an amazing human being. he is polite, courteous and listened to my idea. he is full of ideas. after discussing the various possibilities for my kitchen reno, things started to snow balling and I ended up with whole house reno, I mean from popcorn ceiling to parkette floor, kitchen, bathroom changing doors etc. I had a big meeting with the whole group who will be involve to this project. I express my all liking and disliking
and they agreed to all demands. since I have a busy life I needed somebody to overlook the whole project. aneesh was the project manager and I called him anytime I wanted and he was very humble, polite and took care of all my demands. then came jose - who single handedly changed my house to my dream house. he was very disciplined individual. every morning he was there at 8 am and worked all day. some days he even worked 6 days to finish the job in time. I didn't have to supervised his job. and I didn't have to tell him one thing twice. he finished all the job with perfection. me being perfectionist couldn't find any fault in his work . sergei the tile guy put lot of hours to do the back splash the way I designed and never lost his patience with me. nasim who is the sister of the owner took a special time out from her busy schedule and took me out to find the tile I was looking for. since I was dealing with a senior person in the house and we had to live in the basement for 3 months , the company took a special attention to finish the job in time and they did.
initially I took 3 estimates from 3 different companies and others were little bit cheaper but at the end I signed up with GTA because I felt really comfortable talking to them. they are very very flexible and went above and beyond to fulfil my extra demand and gave me a beautiful dream house which I am enjoying and loving it every moment.

I am a very satisfied client when it comes to services we were provided by GTA General Contractors and Abe who personally managed our project along with his team.

We are a business family with very busy schedules. I wanted to have a turn key project where one company could look after everything for us. After much research we interviewed a few selected firms. We initially picked a different company to work with, however nothing moved for months and at some point we had ran out of patience and decided to work with a different company. We were at that time referred to GTA general contractors by our family friend. We met with Daniel at the beginning, who worked with us throughout the building design and permit process, which was started almost immediately after our approval. Our project was then handed over to Abe for the construction stage, and we could not be happier with the decision and results. Our new home construction took about 8 months from the beginning to end. Abe and his team worked with us at all times, and was very understanding when we needed to change things around, sometimes even after being done. We now live in and love our home and would not hesitate to refer this great company to others.

We were very happy with the work done by GTA. Abe and his crew always went above and beyond to complete the work and always followed through with phone calls and any deficiencies. They were very accommodating to our schedules and made living through a renovation as best as possible. I would highly recommend GTA!

My kitchen needed a total renovation. Floors, ceiling, lighting, electrical as well as cabinets and appliances. It couldn't be made bigger, but it could be more efficient and 'nicer'. It's an old house so it was going to be a challenge. And it was a challenge! But in the end, it came together beautifully and I just love my new kitchen. It's a pleasure to walk into it each day. Daniel and James saw my vision, Aneesh and crew saw the project through to the end. It's not actually bigger - but it looks and feels much bigger and has much better storage. I just love it.
