Discussed any deviations from the original plan and quote as required. End result looks amazing. Very happy.

Simon and his team did a fabulous job on our stairs! They worked super quickly, maintained a very clean work area, protected our floors from front entrance to stairs and didn't leave a spot of dirt behind. I would highly recommend them for any work you need to do on your floors or stairs, they really are great.

Simon and his team were very personable, excellent to work with..such attention to detail..they layed hardwood in the living room and dining room , hall and redid our staircase...they took an 80’s house, and remodeled our staircase..could not be happier!

We were referred by a close friend who had previously used SB Hardwood and was extremely happy with the work. Our story was no different! Simon was very easy to work with and flexible to suit our needs and style that we were after. Other companies we spoke with the stairs couldn't be salvaged but Simon was confident we would be happy with the end result. They worked fast and put in some long hours to get the job done in just a few days - we weren't inconvenienced at all! The stain is a perfect match/complement to our hardware and the railing is spot-on. We needed a minor touch-up after the fact and the installer returned a few days later to make the adjustment without issue.

Simon and team did an amazing job installing hardwood throughout the house. The project lasted for 7 days. Everyone in the team showed up on time every single day and cleaned up the mess before leaving for the day.
What impressed me the most was their work ethic and willing to go above and beyond to make you happy.

These guys are outstanding! They do exactly what they say they are going to do within the time frame they give you. Professional and courteous and super clean. I love these guys!!

I can't go on enough about how happy we are with Simon and his team. We are not related, or even connected through friends in any way to have had any knowledge of what we were getting ourselves into. There are so many horror stories out there that are enough to leave any homeowner skeptical of who they hire to do their job right.
I have to say, as soon as we met Simon for the initial consultation I had a great feeling right off the bat. He was timely...to me this says so much about a person and their commitment to keeping customers at the forefront of their minds. It built confidence for the work that was to follow. Simon came to our home on multiple occasions and answered all of our questions, made sure we were all on the same page, and was very professional in his demeanor. Once we decided to go ahead with the stair refinishing I had no hesitation that we had made the right decision. Considering the cost of this project, it was not to be taken lightly and we would have never entrusted our vision to just any stair company ( I was very thorough about doing my research and reaching out to various companies beforehand). Simon went to great lengths to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He exceeded our expectations by customizing aspects of the design based on our wants and needs and making sure we were 100% happy before starting. We are nothing short of impressed with the professionalism, cleanliness and overall quality of both his company, and the final outcome of our stairs. We absolutely love the job they did. Simon is a genuine guy, no strings attached, and he has built a name for his family business based on reliability, hard work, and customer satisfaction, not to mention the price was extremely competitive to other companies we looked at.
