I recently had hardwood flooring and stairs installed by this company, and I am very impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, the work was done quickly, accurately, and with exceptional attention to detail.

Matthew did a fantastic job. He completed the installation quickly and with great care, trimming the wood outside to avoid lots of wood dust inside. He made sure I was happy with everything and handled the minor adjustments promptly.

Additionally, Simon was wonderful to work with. He was always friendly, professional, and responsive to my questions, especially when I needed some small extra fixes on the existing flooring.

The final result is absolutely stunning. The new hardwood flooring and stairs look amazing, and the whole space feels transformed. I'm really with the outcome.

We are very pleased with the job that SB hardwood did in renovating our staircase the stain matched our exsisting hardwood .Simon was very communicative and provided ideas on what can be done and was very professional . . What can we say that hasnt already been said? We HIGHLY recommend Simon and his crew at SB Hardwood. The quote was fair and honest. The job started and finished exactly as planned. Each day started bright and early and each evening the site was tidied so we did not feel like we were living in a construction zone. What we had done:

wall to wall carpet removed from the full second floor, replaced with hardwood flooring;
carpet and landings removed from stairwell, replaced with new hardwood landings and re-stained and re-painted steps;
re-stained railings;
new pickets;
hardwood and tile flooring removed from main floor, replaced with hardwood flooring.
all new baseboards and shoe mold.
The transitions were custom made and extra detail was put into the new nosings extra details that we didnt even know could be done. Simon had wonderful suggestions throughout the process of installation [eg. darker stain on step down to living room, changing direction on flooring on step down to basement landing all making the steps visible for safety and extra classy too].
