I can't go on enough about how happy we are with Simon and his team. We are not related, or even connected through friends in any way to have had any knowledge of what we were getting ourselves into. There are so many horror stories out there that are enough to leave any homeowner skeptical of who they hire to do their job right. I have to say, as soon as we met Simon for the initial consultation I had a great feeling right off the bat. He was timely...to me this says so much about a person and their commitment to keeping customers at the forefront of their minds. It built confidence for the work that was to follow. Simon came to our home on multiple occasions and answered all of our questions, made sure we were all on the same page, and was very professional in his demeanor. Once we decided to go ahead with the stair refinishing I had no hesitation that we had made the right decision. Considering the cost of this project, it was not to be taken lightly and we would have never entrusted our vision to just any stair company ( I was very thorough about doing my research and reaching out to various companies beforehand). Simon went to great lengths to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He exceeded our expectations by customizing aspects of the design based on our wants and needs and making sure we were 100% happy before starting. We are nothing short of impressed with the professionalism, cleanliness and overall quality of both his company, and the final outcome of our stairs. We absolutely love the job they did. Simon is a genuine guy, no strings attached, and he has built a name for his family business based on reliability, hard work, and customer satisfaction, not to mention the price was extremely competitive to other companies we looked at. We will not hesitate to have Simon and his team back for our future renovations...and anyone reading this shouldn't either. He does not disappoint. Thanks Simon and Sb Hardwood for giving our stairs new life and for giving us confidence in the fact that there are companies like you out there who are upstanding and skilled tradesmen. Cheers!
