STAY AWAY

I had this company come to my house to look at my washer as it would not drain. I was told that the service call was going to be $80 and that the service call fee would be waived if I had the work done. The guy came and told me that a pump needed to be replaced in my washer and that the part would cost under $50 to replace. He then charged me $280 plus tax for a total of $316. He said that once the part came in, that i would only be charged for the cost of the water pump and he would come and install it. 3 days later, I had not heard anything from them so I called the company back and the girl then told me that the part was $378 +tax and needed to be paid for before they come and install it. I told her that the guy told me it would be under $50 to replace. She would not return any of the $316 i had already paid and my washer still is not fixed!

Do not let these people into your home or else it will cost you hundreds of dollars for a 15 minute visit from a guy with terrible english!

Service

Called to have our oven serviced. Was told it would be $80 for the call. When the guy was here, told him I wasn't interested in spending hundreds of dollars to repair as I can buy a new oven for $700 for Boxing Day if it would be more than a couple of hundred. He probed the oven, charged $280 plus tax and still need to pay for a main board...most expensive part of oven. His English was terrible and he mumbled, so if he explained this, I sure didn't hear it. Ended up buying a new oven and am out $316.40 on top of it for the bogus "repair". Not bad to make that much for half an hour's work and no parts! Stay clear!!!

Washing Machine non-repair

We called this company as our washing machine would not pump out the wash water. 2 days later a service person came, tipped up the machine and informed us a new pump would be required. We asked about how much this would cost and he replied they would have to get a quote from Sears and if the part was available they would let us know. Maybe it would be him, maybe not who would come to install it if we accepted the quote. In order to get the quote we had to pay him $316 for his 15 minutes of labour.
2 days later, no quote and the office said we could not get a refund as we had just paid for him servicing our machine.
I sure wish we had found this site before we called this fraudulent company. Our regular repairman had retired 3 years prior and we needed someone new.

Fraudulent approach to "service call"

Called them after our fridge/freezer was not cooling properly. I was told that the technician would "investigate" the issue and then let me know what parts and labour would be. Mike (nice guy, otherwise) listened to what I told him; he didn't investigate at all and said he needed to service the defrost system. That would be $280 plus tax. I agreed. he unscrewed one panel and said "whoa, your pipes are not frozen - you need a new compressor and gas - and that will cost you $1,200 for parts but there will be no more charge for labour as you paid $280 now". 10 minutes of work. A simple "investigation". I paid and then decided to not repair the fridge but get a new one. This should never have been more than the service call charge. They are fraudulent.

Fraudsters - Stay away

I fell victim to the same trap as most of the other posters on this site. I scheduled a service call for my washing machine and was told it would be $80 for the service call. The tech spent a total of 5 minutes in my home, told me what I already knew, and then charged $280 for the labour to install the new part we needed.

Of course the fine print says otherwise but that doesn't change the fact that they verbally misrepresented what the charge was for. I tried to resolve the dispute amicably but they dodge calls and are unresponsive, so next stop is to report them to the BBB and file suit in small claims court on the basis of fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation.

For the other victims on the site keep in mind you have 2 years from the date the dispute arose to file a claim under the statute of limitations.

Washing machine repair

Same story with so called repair of our washing machine which cost us 316 wasted dollars. He told us it was fixed and should last us a couple of more years. I put a load of laundry it to try it out nothing had been fixed. Called customer service and was basically told there's nothing we can do about it but we can replace the transmission for 568 plus lab our is extra! Are you kidding me! wish I had read these reviews first before calling this rip off company. Never hire these people! I am so angry.

washer

Under no circumstances call this company! They are not upfront.
They will come to your home for an initial 80.00 fee which is absolutely faIir. Then the tech will tell you before he can touch your appliance you will need to pay 200.00. This 200.00 will be carried over once the problem is established & will be put towards your labour. Then you wait for the call to advise how much the part will be. In my case they said it was 1,313.00 !! Obviously, I could buy a washer/dryer brand new for that absurd amount. I asked them back for the 200.00. NEVER they said. They will give you a crazy amount for your part and grab the 200.00. One hour for 280.00 + tax. I' am very upset. I have been taken advantage & I am insulted. True they showed up in a very timely manner however, what good is that if they don't fix anything and basically grab your cash. Shame on this company. DON'T USE THEM!!!

Fridge

Everything is fake about Appliance repair guys.
Their web site is nice, but it experience is not.
They don't work 24/7, they are not highly skilled technicians and do not provide quality service at a reasonable price.
Actually, it is all the opposite.
I called them for my fridge which stopped cooling. Sure, they'll do.
I paid $280 for the labor which lasted 30 minutes, and $200 for the parts. Two days later fridge stopped working again.
Called them. Sure, just fill in the on-line warranty form and we will contact you.
They never contact me.
I called them back - was left on hold and after a while dropped me off. And like that several times.
Finally I 've got someone. I was promised to be contacted.
Never happened.
Eventually, I gave up.

Washing Machine

Exact same story as the last review. Don't waste your money on them. 20 minutes service no fix and a 316.00 bill.

The guy wasnice enough but also spent three phone calls to someone on what to try to test..

The cost to fix was more expensive that to buy it new again.

Washing machine repair

Wish I had read these reviews before call this company. This has turned into an ordeal costing $600 -- $300 for their "repair" and another $300 to replace the plumbing valves and pipes they snapped. Plumber suggests trying to get full refund, says he'll even testify. These people should be ashamed of themselves.
