Zaid is an excellent professional - no drama mover! He organized both the packing and the move for us at short notice. He and his guys handled everything very well. We could not be happier.

Andrew was super helpful once he was brought in by our movers. Drop off of the boxes was easy to schedule and Andrew came by and handled it all. A week later we were ready to return the boxes and while I can't say I miss them, it was so much better than using cardboard boxes. Again, Andrew handled the logistics and came out in hostile snow storm weather. Very happy with the service and how everything was handled - super professional.

We asked WOW 1 Day to come in and paint everything in our 4 bedroom home. The walls and ceilings needed considerable repair because of holes (in the garage I had drilled some 150+ holes over the years for storage shelving etc.). PETER's TEAM painted not just the walls but also the trim on our staircase and door handles. They were super attentive and fun to work with - excellent professionals. We are extremely happy and will be returning yet again in the future. I just wish we had more paint jobs to hand out (not really...). Thank you Peter, Gill, Luiz, Tyrone, Maribel, Candice, Brian and Mike.

Called them after our fridge/freezer was not cooling properly. I was told that the technician would "investigate" the issue and then let me know what parts and labour would be. Mike (nice guy, otherwise) listened to what I told him; he didn't investigate at all and said he needed to service the defrost system. That would be $280 plus tax. I agreed. he unscrewed one panel and said "whoa, your pipes are not frozen - you need a new compressor and gas - and that will cost you $1,200 for parts but there will be no more charge for labour as you paid $280 now". 10 minutes of work. A simple "investigation". I paid and then decided to not repair the fridge but get a new one. This should never have been more than the service call charge. They are fraudulent.

We found our roof leaking and called Roofworks Ltd. as well as several other roofers for their views on what needed to be done and how much it would cost. Roofworks and Adam were great from the start, very responsive and customer-focused. Their quote was competitive and the scheduling for the work suited us. When the crew came to do the work, they were very professional, friendly and responsive. They provided us with photos on progress and any issues that arose. Adam was in constant communication. When all was done, they cleaned up and that was it. We had a few issues when the first rain hit the new roof and Adam immediately addressed them with a crew. Now we are very happy with our solution. Great work, Roofworks! We'd use them again - just hopefully we don't have to anytime soon.

Called R1 on Sunday before Thanksgiving as we found water in our basement. They were out within a few hours to install heaters etc., came back on Thanksgiving Monday to begin the work and were professional throughout, as well as extremely helpful, nice and kind. They provided estimates for the insurance which approved them almost instantly. Their work in restoring the basement was splendid drywalls, floor boards, paint job, everything. This could not have gone better. Eric, Mike, Jim, Rob, and others all great at what they do.
