Sue is a pleasure to deal with. She promptly responds to phone calls and emails requesting information. Sue carefully provided a quote and helped us with our decisions about options such as sink size proportionate to counter. And when we should her our ideal stone, she quickly got the quote and we had it installed within a few weeks.
By the way, her quote was among the best I had, and I got many.

About Martin, the owner. They say one test of a truly great company is how it handles a challenge. There was some minor mixup at one point, and immediately upon my contacting the Company, it was resolved. Martin personally saw to it being corrected almost within minutes (actually, within 15 minutes). He was calm, sincere, on top of everything, and in general, a true professional.

I will be happy to work with him and his company in the future.

From the moment I reached out to Rio Stone, we were treated with some of the most tailored, respectful, professional and knowledgeable customer service I have received. Martin quickly provided a preliminary quote on some material, he was able to give us suggestions, offer to meet us and take us around to the suppliers of natural stones in the City.

Let me empathize with you for a moment, like many trades and suppliers, there are so many options and so many fabricators to choose from, especially in Toronto. We were confused on who to go with, and there are so many things to consider, price, quality, advice, timing, service, aftercare etc. Believe me, Martin and his team at Rio stone will take good care of you. My counter was just installed so time will tell if I need service how he pulls through but if the experience I had thus far is any indication, I am comfortable he will take care of any issues that arise.

Martin was able to provide options for materials, be flexible for sink options, edge profiles. They made us some transition pieces and shower jambs for other rooms. He was patient and helpful and overall came in with a competitive price.

Sue was great with scheduling and we had a super quick turn around time from templating, which is great.

His templater was friendly and accurate and the install team did a good job.

First of all, the customer service from RioStone is phenomenal. We had a good idea of what we wanted, but Martin and Herman helped us to really fine tune our selection in terms of cut and edge finishes. Gil, who came to hand measure the countertop fit was efficient and clearly knew what he was doing and just put his head down and got it done. It was a simple and easy process, always with great communication between myself and Herman.
Herman went above and beyond, emailing photos in different lighting to compare pieces of stone for my convenience. The attention to detail was greatly appreciated, and it made me feel confident that the finished product would live up to a high standard. Other companies, I'm sure would have done a good job as well, but for the personal touch and easy process at a competitive price, I would choose RioStone again.

We recently did our kitchen island countertop with Rio Stone. Our design had specific requirements and from material selection to installation completion we had a fantastic experience with this company and highly recommend them.

Sue and Martin were excellent to work with, patient, knowledgeable and definitely not pushy as some are in this industry. Unfortunately our countertop cracked after 2 weeks, to no fault of theirs or the installer, however, our CANADIAN MADE HANSTONE PRODUCT let us down. After months of Sue and Martin dealing with this company to provide a replacement countertop they let us both down as they would not back up their product; so much for their LIFETIME WARRANTY!! I have recommended Rio Stone to my friends and family; HANSTONE well that's another conversation which ends with BUYER BE WARE!!!

Martin and Sue were friendly and helpful throughout the process of selecting the material for our new countertop and explaining our options. Martin gave us discounts on our sink and faucet. On the day of the installation, Martin was there to make sure everything went smoothly. The workmanship was excellent. The installation was great and Martin called to follow up and offered to resolve any concerns. I did have a small concern and Martin helped solving and fixing it right away. They are a great company and a great staff. We would definitely order from Rio Stone again when we're doing our bathrooms.

We had the pleasure of working with Sue on our kitchen refresh. She gave us the best price for beautiful HanStone countertops (made in London ON) and was super communicative during the entire process. They really went over and above, even picking up our new sink from the store to make sure that the counter was cut perfectly to fit the sink. We also had an usual shape around the sink and windowsill, which they did beautifully. I highly recommend Rio Stone to anyone needing a great product at a great price with solid installation.
