I was very happy with their quick and professional manner. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I will continue to use their services when I need heating or cooling work.

Rafi arrived promptly and was friendly and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to solve the problem.

Rafi is spectacular! He is a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced professional. While it's true that Rafi's unique experience, knowledge and ability is what enables me to continue to enjoy my 35 year old furnace; I will be turning to Rafi when I do decide to move forward with a new heating and cooling system for my home. This is because Rafi has illustrated to me, that he is truly the best if the best when it comes to heating and cooling systems.

Very impressed with AFG. During quoting, Rafi was very knowledgeable and explained exactly what the problem was and allowed us to decide was the best option was for us. He returned much faster than anticipated with a new furnace and had it installed same day.

We needed a few quotes on energy efficient furnaces so we called around. AFG's quote for an Amana unit was very appealing to us. Not only the price was reasonable but also the warranty. Fasi registered the unit, applied the rebates and emailed us the pdf files the same day. We're very pleased with the work and looking forward to saving on energy bills this winter.

Our fire place was not working, called AFG Heating and cooling - Fasi was very helpful and asked to describe the issue- advised that he will be there within an hour to take a look at the problem. He arrived in 45 minutes - looked at the problem and advised that he has the parts to fix the issue. The fireplace was working within one hour! Very satisfied!! Excellent Service!!!

Called AFG heating and cooling Monday morning, Fasi attended an hour later and diagnosed the problem in less than 10 mins. Turned out it was the gas valve. He didn't have the part but ordered it and installed it the next day. Over all very happy with their professionalism, honesty and cuetomer care. The price was fair and I was given a breakdown of everything. Will keep them in mind for future hvac needs.

I needed some advice on HE furnace issues and the installation of a whole house HEPA system. Rafi stopped by and solved a couple of issues. He is probably one of the most knowledgeable people in the heating and cooling business. Any future issues and he is the first person I'll call/hire to complete any heating and cooling work.

Recently required a blower replacement on a 9 year old Keeprite furnace. The HVAC technician from AFG was courteous, well-groomed and seemed well-informed. The need for a replacement blower motor was obvious (burning plastic smell; howling/whining noise from the furnace) and was confirmed within 2 minutes of the service call. I was surprised therefore that the $99 cost for the service call was is not then deducted from the labour cost later.

I was told that the repair could maybe done later that evening once the blower motor (very standard part) was picked up from the supplier. I was disappointed that after waiting several hours at home that evening, I was told the wrong part was left in the lock box by the supplier (excuse? maybe). We booked a repair for the next day between 12noon and 2pm. The tech did not show. I called and was told his ETA was going to be closer to 4pm. Still no show. Finally after calling again, AFG showed at 4:30pm.

The blower motor cost $420; capacitor replacement $65; and labour: $160 (with no deduction for the $99 service call that took 2 mins).
Total with HST: $840.72.
Total hours waiting for AFG to show up over 2 days: 8.5 hours

I also expected information about the replacement parts and the warranty (for parts and labour)- didn't get any. Just a payment receipt.

At least they take credit cards....
