Late one evening, our two computers were suddenly dead in the water. My entire system had been set up by a family member who was no longer available to help, and I did not know where to even begin to put things to right. The next morning, I called Randy and he was here at my home within the hour. He immediately diagnosed the problem, told me exactly which components were faulty and exactly what I needed replace. And then be reinstalled everything for me. As a result of his visit, not only were my computers up and running again, but everything was set up better than before. Plus, thanks to Randy's clear explanations, I now have a better understanding of how my computers are set up and of how various problems can arise. Thanks to Randy, I also have a plan for future action, and ideas about how to replace old equipment with new components.Randy's computer expertise is "A-1". Randy is very personable and knowledgeable and fully credited. After a virus destroyed my computer, he advised me about what I would need re a laptop to replace my computer. After purchasing it, he installed it and my new printer which was quite involved, as well as linked my external hard drive and gave me much advice and all the tools I would need to access everything on my new computer. He is so patient and explained every step as he was performing these exercises so that I would understand what he was doing and how it was beneficial. I am so happy with all his help over the past year and I would definitely recommend him to anyone - I was referred to him by a close friend. Also he made himself available immediately as my computer was not operational and he is always on time. Randy Aves is our on-call IT specialist who is extremely knowledgable on our network, the PCs and the MAC's as well as laptops. He has also been of help with our other electronic gadgets (like I-pod,I-pad). He is a FAST worker and excellent patient teacher.
