We decided to renovate our 1930’s Toronto Beaches home. We knew that this was an intricate project. Through a great referral we contacted CBC Contractors. Frank and Perry were very professional, honest, and dependable. From the drawings and permits all the way to the final reveal, they attended to everything on time and on budget (very important for us). We contracted CBC for a basement renovation: a) water-proofing, b) new floor installation, c) drywall replacement, and d) wall painting. Perry and Frank responded to my request for a quotation right away, they provided us with a detailed (written) assessment of the job, and a cost estimate which was proven to be spot on. They started right away and they completed the project on time and on budget. There are dependable, efficient, well organized and on top of things. True professionals. At the end of every work day, Perry provided us with an update and a summary of the activities for the next day. Perry always took time to explain to us the pros & cons of each design decision and he was always available to provide additional information and clarifications. We are delighted with the end result. CBC Christmas Miracle.

I owe so much to this family of talented professionals. I never thought I was going to reach my renovation goals and couldn't have without their help.

I could write a book about my contractor experiences and it all happened over only a 5 month period!

After suffering through months of contractor no-shows, mess ups and overbillings, I had given up on the lot and decided to finish my own basement with help from friends and family on the weekends when they could make it. That was great in theory but none of us were professional, and no matter how hard we worked, I knew we couldn't get the finishes the way I wanted and certainly not in time. Pressure was high, as I had tenants taking over my main floor January 1st - a week away.

All my resources had dried up, it was the holidays, and I was staring at 73 boxes of an Ikea kitchen that needed to be assembled and installed. Not only that, but I had about 30 boxes of tiles to lay, no doors, no hardware, no window casings, no plumbing, and no paint. There was a lot to be done.

Feeling sick with worry, I remembered meeting a kind gentleman back in October who had a wealth of handy-man knowledge for the new home owner (ie: me ). At our initial meeting he had said to feel free to call if I needed some good advice. It was 3:00 pm Christmas Eve. I thought I would try him as I was clearly out of options. He answered the phone - that was the first miracle. He actually remembered me and our previous conversation and offered me the number to CBC Contractors. Unbelievably, they too answered their phone in person on Christmas Eve and we set up an appointment for the 27th - miracle number 2. CBC listened to my story and assessed what needed to be done. I had a written quote in less than 24 hours complete with time frame. All details were explained clearly as to what they would do - AND THEY DID IT - WELL!!!

I was flabbergasted - honestly! CBC were so professional and understanding from the start. Their craftsmanship was outstanding. They turned my reno nightmare into my dream home.

We engaged in a contract with CBC for a basement renovation and water-proofing. Frank and Perry arrived at our home and gave us an estimate of $40,000 which was spot on. Once we received the quote we gave them the green light and they started right away. We were so amazed to see how quick and efficient they were. Each morning they would update us with what work needs to be done and what exactly they will be doing for the day. We were very appreciative of these updates a they both encouraged us to give them a call if we ever needed some additional clarification on particular things. They remained professional throughout their time here and we definitely recommend them for any future renovations.

We recently had CBC Constractors finish our basement. Frank and all of his tradepeople were extremely professional in everything they did for us. Frank was very helpful in designing the space to meet our family's needs. He provided a reasonable quote and started the work on schedule. Every worker who came to our home arrived on time every morning. The project was completed on-time and on budget. Family and friends who have visited cannot believe how great the basement looks. Weeks afterwards, when my son's right knee "christened" one of the walls playing mini-sticks, Frank didn't hesitate to come and patch it up for us - free of charge! We love the work CBC Contracting did for us and would not hesitate to recommend them for your next project.

CBC Contractors are extremely professional and passionate at what they do. I retained CBC Contractors last year to construct a custom 2200 sq. ft. detached house in the Scarborough Junction. CBC was recommended to me by my architect who has over 35 years of experience in custom residential design/build. Even during the bid stage CBC Contractors were more than willing to meet with me at the site often after hours to discuss the project. From the initial design and pricing stages to final build out Frank and Perry were extremely courteous and professional and worked very closely with my family, the City and my design team to deliver an excellent product. All work was done on time and under budget. Both Frank and Perry went out of their way and often outside the established scope of work to satisfy my concerns. I would recommend CBC contractors to any of my friends, family or colleagues.

Frank and Perry renovated my old lakefront home with amazing speed, professionalism and quality - they certainly exceeded my expectations. I was lucky to have a great architect for the project as well - one who had worked with CBC and highly recommended them. During the project, we ecnountered some historic structural problems which they also fixed. From foundation lowering, to adding on a new extension, ktichen, bathrooms, exterior and interior finsihing, absolutlely every detail was done with quality, and one thing I remember well, was the pride they took in their work. I would not hesitate to provide a reference for CBC or contract them again for future work.

I was referred to CBC contactors by a friend when I wanted to do over my kitchen. They took the ideas I had for the kitchen and added their own input on the design which made the overall look of the kitchen flow better. The job was done in a timely fashion and did not drag on for months. The kitchen turned out beautiful and I will be calling them again to reno my home's bathrooms later this year.
