Master Drain & Water Works

Team got to work right away - found all the issues and fixed them. Done in 2 days! Kept the mess to a minimum and did a nice job finishing the concrete. Included replacing basement drain, replacing section of main drain, digging and replacing a section in the front yard and adding a back flow valve.

My drain had backed up into my basement. I had had another plumber come and inspect it with his camera but decided not to have him do the work. I called Vitalij and asked if he could give me an estimate over the phone based on what the first plumber had told me. He was agreeable to that and gave me an estimate and he honoured that estimate. Walter came and did the work. He was very fast - digging up my front yard in the cold, and doing the repair and installation in less than four hours! We were very impressed. Vitalij organized the gas company to come and tell where the gas lines were before the work began, and arranged for the city inspector to come two days later. Walter was here to meet him, and the next day Walter came back and filled in the hole, cleaned up my yard and driveway and it was immaculate. You would never know anyone had done work there. The paperwork for the city rebate was all filled in and I just had to check it over and send it in. I never had to worry about anything from start to finish. I was very pleased with the work and would recommend them - in fact I have already passed their information on to a friend looking for a good plumber.

I had a basement drain backup, Vitaly was there the same day to investigate the problem. He ran the camera and identified the issue and gave a prompt quote for excavation, removal/disposal of old concrete, removal of old drain pipe, installation of ~5' of pipe, backfill and concrete. His price was reasonable and he completed the work right away and was finished in a day. He also cleaned up the area well after the work was completed. Definitely recommend.

Vitaliy and his crews did wonders to solve the problems in my 100 year old house. Used torpedo to avoid major damage to basement floor when replacing the broken clay pipes with plastic. Together with sump pump , foundation perimeter drain sister and back flow valve, I feel my house can survive a flood of biblical proportions!!!

I can't recommend Drainworks enough. Because we didn't replace our aging drain the first time it clogged (as they recommended), we have used their services more than once and have worked with Jim, Matt and Armando. They have unclogged our drain, used the camera, and eventually dug down and replaced the old outside trap as well as all of the outside drain line to the city services. Vitalyi was great to work with. He was courteous, polite, professional and patient, and kept me informed throughout the project. He was accessible and offered good advice and recommendations regarding the state of my drains and water main. The work was done quickly, and efficiently inspite of the changes in scope of the project. Initially the work was to involve a section of inside drain from a collapsed clay pipe in the middle of the basement through to the property line outside including installing a backwater valve. As the work progressed, Vitalyi advised me of the decrepit state of my original 100 yr old + water main so we replaced that as well. And as a considerable part of the basement was dug up, it seemed to make sense to do the rest of the clay drain pipes, including repositioning the main drain in the basement floor.
Vitaliy's crew were polite, efficient, tidy, and as clean as you can be when doing that kind of work. Their english was limited but Vitaliy seemed to keep in close contact with them, gave them direction, and provided regular oversight including daily visits to the house. Vitaliy also prepared the City of Toronto forms for the backwater valve rebate and also for replacement of the water main on city property and gave me detailed instructions on the processing of them with the City. He really was very helpful in every respect and I thought very reasonable for the work that was done. I would highly recommend them.

He took care of the paper work and coordinating city inspections for the back water valve. They were able to get our drains replacement scheduled to start in less than 2 days and completed the job in a short time. Our basement was well clean and cleared up after work was done.
