After interviewing numerous contractors and basement companies, we decided to go with Edwin because he was extremely knowledgable, reasonably priced, focused on customer service and extremely genuine. I can't say enough about Edwin DaSouza and his level of professionalism, attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. When he says he stays on the job until it is complete and the customer is happy....he is being honest.

After 4 weeks we have a beautifully finished basement that is a wonderful extension of the main floor living. Edwin's ideas when designing were very helpful yet he never pushes the customer or acts superior. Dealing with him is a truly a pleasure.

We will be adding a vestibule to the house as well as a deck and fencing and Edwin is our only choice. I would recommend Edwin with no hesitation. You'd be lucky to have him.

I came in contact with Edwin through a mutual friend. I told him my plans to turn my clustered, unfinished garage into a man cave. He was able to come out and give me a quote within a week. He gave me many advice on how to utilize the space to the fullest and after finalizing what i wanted, we scheduled the start date and the work began. The garage was framed, drywall was put up, the attic space was closed up and an attic ladder installed, he even added some extra support for that overhead space for safety. All of this was done in 3 days. He was prompt and trust worthy and knowledgeable. I will definitely turn to Dasouza Construction for any further work.

Edwin is excellent in his workmanship. he understood what we wanted, and pointed out how it could be better, he gave us a fair quote but more than that, he gave his heart and soul to doing the best work that he could do. There are very few people who do that nowadays. He earned our trust but even more the standard of his workmanship and his crew is far superior to any one that we have ever come across.

I have recommended him to friends and will continue doing so because I believe he is the best kept secret when it comes to this kind of work in Durham region and its environs.

My wife and I decided to make a playroom in the basement for our children and searched for various contractors. We settled on Edwin as his prices were great and his vision was similar. Edwin came to our rescue. After firing the contractor for our 'full gut' renovation of an old house downtown,due to poor quality of work, Edwin stepped in to finish the two upper floors (bathrooms, kitchens, hardwood and drywall repairs). A very difficult situation for any contractor. Edwin 'finished the puzzle' under difficult circumstances, then moved onto the complete basement renovation. Great quality, great attiitude, I'd recommend him without question.

Edwin did a wonderful job on finishing my basement it was done on time and within the constraints of my time. The workmanship was well worth the money paid and he was easy to communicate with. My basement was bare and he worked with me to come up with a design for the basement and built everything to the highest standards.
