The end product (the doors) were beautiful. The installation team did a great job with the trim and the actual installation. We did have a bit of a hiccup as we had planned to have keyless entry but were told by the installers the lock we purchased didn’t fit though I spoke with someone at Home Depot in the door installation section upon purchasing. Luckily as it was a set of double doors we had purchased two handles.
The other challenge was the actual coordination of the installation. Our salesperson was great. I was told someone would contact me to schedule someone to come confirm the measurements and then a 6-8 week timeline from there. Right on schedule, a Project Coordinator sent an email introducing herself. Weeks went by with no further contact or someone to come out to confirm the measurements. I finally reached back out to her (over a month from her original email) and received an out of office as it was over the Christmas Holidays. Come the new year still no reply, then one random Saturday a gentleman called me to ask to come the same day to confirm the measurements taken in November. We rearranged our calendar and arranged to be home. When my husband asked why the delay, the gentleman said we were “lost in the system”. Again weeks went by with nothing. So I contacted our original salesperson, who said he would look into it. A week goes by and then anothe PC contacted me to schedule the installation. We confirmed a date and he rest went smoothly. I never received any response from the original PC as to the delay or anything. Customer service was very much lacking from this perspective.
