Northern Comfort

We purchased the majority of our windows in 2003 and have been very satisfied with them. Although a couple have broken down Northern Comfort quickly and efficiently replaced them. This August we had 3 remaining windows replaced. The installers did an amazing job dealing with one especially troublesome basement window. They worked through one of the hottest days and left all sites clean and tidy. Jennifer and Paulette, the scheduling ladies, were always easy to talk to when we had to change dates and Jennifer's friendly follow-up call was appreciated.

We had all windows(8) installed 2 years ago by Northern Comfort. This July (2016) we had them install a 6' wide patio door. We had a different crew but the work performed was excellent. Both crews were professional in all aspects : knowledgeable, workmanship, efficient, on time, worked great together and did great clean up on completion. Salesman was same as previous order and answered all questions in a professional and knowledgeable fashion. All N.C. employees went above & beyond our expectations. We had other quotes but will not waste time in future as Northern Comfort provided us with the best service we could ask for. We've had excellent comments on our installations & have already been recommending them to friends and neighbors. J & G.

On March 31, 2016 I ordered a patio door form the sales rep who was informative, knowledgeable and likeable. I was satisfied with this part of the process.
On May 11, 2016 my door was installed. The installers did a fast, efficient job and cleaned up when they were finished. When they left everything appeared to be OK. However, it was a hot day and about two hours after they left, the caulking around the door began to run, bubble an slump. It looked bad.
I contacted the office the next day and send photos of the problem. I was told that someone would be back to fix it. I told the lady to have the installers return in the morning when the sun was not beating on the door so that the same problem would not be repeated.
About a week later the installers returned at about 4:30pm when the temperature on my back deck was about 90 degrees. They tried to fix it but it was too hot. The installer said, "I'm just making a mess, its too hot right now." He told me that he lived close by and that he would come back when it was cool to fix the problem. He never came back.
Some time later I received a call from Northern Comfort asking if I was happy with the installation. I said no and I explained the situation. I was told that they would be back the following weekend. No one came back.
Some time later I received a customer survey in the mail. I called the office and explained my situation to them and said that they may want to send someone out to fix the caulking before I filled out the survey. I was assured that someone would be out.
It has been over two weeks since then and no one has come to fix it and no one has contacted me.
Once they received my money, I received promises but no customer service.
I am very disappointed and would not recommend them to anyone.

very satisfied with the job , very efficient, and well done. Andrew and Mitch, surprised me by making an attempt at cleaning the windows . Although not necessary, I appreciated it. so both of them did a fine job.

We replaced existing 30 year old windows. They were professional , courteous and attention to detail - left the job site clean couldn't tell they were there. Job well done!

We had two windows and two patio doors installed. What a great job Northern Comfort did. Right from the quote right up to the installation. I would recommend Northern Comfort to anyone. They are fabulous. THey will be finishing the rest of my windows when I decide to do them. Thank you Northern Comfort.

All our doors and windows where installed by Ernie Peca and Phill.They did an excellent job and explained the new products to me.The cleanup after was very well done. Would gladly recommend Northern Confort.

The staff from sales and installation were excellent. The Sales rep was Mark. The installers were Lou and Graham. They did a great job taking out the old product and installing the new. They took pride in their workmanship and it tells through the various step of the installation to the completion of the project.

We are very pleased with the appearance and operation of our new windows. Sales rep and installation people were very co-operative and I have referred Norther Comfort to other people.

We bought windows for our whole house and had two patio door installed the service at Northern Windows is great they are very knowledgeable courteous clean and very satisfied with the installation. If you need windows I recommend you go with Northern Comfort all the way
