Gas Fireplace Services & Repairs

I called Imran yesterday morning because our gas fireplace had stopped working and he arrived yesterday afternoon and the fireplace now works again! We are thankful that he came so quickly, that he was so pleasant, very helpful and knew exactly what he was doing. We are very pleased with his work and would highly recommend him to anyone with the same problem!

I contacted Imran Emandee based on the reviews I read, since my fireplace no longer worked. Because he lives in Mississagua, he does not normally travel to Durham/Pickering, but he nevertheless agreed to come and help after I sent him a couple of photographs of the fireplace. When he arrived, he had all the equipment necessary and proceeded to clean and repair the unit. It now works very well and we can enjoy it once again. He seems to be very knowledgeable about the product [even though it is old - other repairmen said it was too old and could not be serviced]. He also provided tips and ideas on what we can do to maintain proper functioning. Thanks, Imran

I contacted Imran based on the HomeStars ratings and was not disappointed. His work was professional, clean and thorough. He found a few things that he told me we will need to replace 'soon' but he didn't push a hard sell - instead he cleaned and serviced everything and gave me great comfort that the fireplaces were safe and in working order. I will definitely call Imran again when the parts break down and replacements are required.

I have had Imran service my gas fireplace on 2 occasions - the 2nd time required a late evening service call. On both occasions his work exceeded my expectations - on-time, professional and courteous - a combination that is not always easy to find.

Great service provided! The gentleman was well prepared with all tools needed. The fireplace was taken apart very quickly, attention was given to all pieces, and the end product was a like new fireplace (most importantly a safe fireplace for my families home). Imran is a highly responsive and professional service provider. He is careful to fix only what needs attention and does excellent work. He treats your home with respect and is pleasant to deal with. The week before New Year's he cleaned one fireplace but when the sensor failed the next day he was back on New Year's eve afternoon immediately to fix it so we would have it for our evening and over the holidays. Class act and top pro.

Imran is very experienced and very nice person. He is clearly in very high demand as we had to book him a few weeks advance so we were very happy that he fixed our fireplace before the holidays. Neither of us was able to stay home during a weekday (understandably, he doesn't work evenings) so we were happy that he came on a Saturday morning.

His final bill was exactly what he quoted so that was nice.

We really appreciate that he kept us in the loop (1) he called back quickly when I reached out to book an appointment, (2) he called a few days before our appointment because he had finished early and was in our neighbourhood so was hoping to drop by (but unfortunately we were unavailable), (3) he called the morning of our appointment because of traffic issues so that was really nice and even at that, he was only 15 minutes or so late. It is so refreshing for a repairman to be punctual and so thoughtful about clients' time so again thank you.

Imran was very respectable to keep our house clean (for example, he brought a blanket to protect our floor and brought his own vacuum so he did an excellent clean up when he was all done). He was very thorough and explained what he was doing and told us how to troubleshoot/gave us advice (in case there are future problems). We have a very old gas fireplace so probably could use a new one but thought it would be fine and cheaper to just service the old one. So, it is nice that he wasn't trying to up-sell us. One day, when we do decide to get a new fireplace (the pilot light is not quiet enough but we're content for now), we will definitely call on Imran.

Our fireplace went out suddenly, so my husband tried contacting 4 service repairman with no responses, until we called Imran Emamdee .
He promptly returned our call, informed us that he could come in 1 week because he was already booked up. Well he showed up as promised, on time and well prepared. He fixed our Gas Fireplace, quickly and quietly! Imran was professional, polite and pleasant to talk to as he explained what needed to be done and how to keep our fireplace in good working order. We would recommend him and his services to others.
