we bought a new home in coventry hills. The washer dryer which was installed by the builder was not the one which we Choose. We were told that it will be replace within 2 months by the builder and Trail Appliance. Finally it came after 2 months and when the guys try to take the washer and dryer to the laundry room they damaged my walls badly. When I talk to people who came to install it they give me the number to call ( Denis in Train Appliance 403-692-2089). When I call I was assure by Denis that someone will call me within a week and talk about the damages. No one call for a week . I followed up. But was told someone will call within 24 hours. Nothing happened. I called again and he never pick my phone. I try for attest for 1 month or more to talk to someone who will pay the damages. Nether Denis nor anyone from the company called. Finally I have to pay and get it fix. This big company don’t care about damaging people walls of a brand new home. Will not recommend any one.

Purchased our appliances from Trail, I won't mention the fridge as they did finally replace it. I won't mention the washer installation as they finally installed it properly. I will however mention the dishwasher, just two weeks ago, I notice a rubber gasket on the floor beside the dishwasher, not sure where it came from I file it in the junk drawer. Within a day or two, I once again see a gasket, the same as the other, laying on the floor by the dishwasher. I also notice the door just drops down. I call Trail and explain what I found and the condition of the door. They send a technician out and he has no idea where these gaskets have come from. He resorts to his computer and finds the model and the placement of the gaskets. He takes off the stainless steel part. He says they're nothing, don't really need them. He goes. When loading the dishwasher tonight, I see the door is all misaligned. I'm done with Trail Appliances.

I cannot believe a company is able to continue running this way in this day and age.
We ordered kitchen appliances through Trail back in April. We are still waiting to have one of the appliances delivered and installed.
From day 1, the day they gladly accepted our deposit, the process has been a joke. The salesperson told us it would take 6-8 weeks for product to arrive. Week 7 we get an email stating they need a signature to have our hood fan sent into production. We are told that our 'other' appliances will be in shortly, however, the hood fan will take 8-10 weeks from this point.
Hood fan arrives 4 months after original order. Keep in mind we had 3 installers come to our home to install it when it still wasn't here. ????
Finally it arrived. End of August. Installer picks it up and realizes it doesn't fit properly. Contacts Calgary store and requests the hood fan stack get cut down 10". We confirmed with manager by the name of 'Art'. He asks us to bring in the stack to get cut down. We take it in same day to prevent further delays. 2 weeks later we get a call from Trail installs. They want to book in the install. We request the installers they used on the last attempted install return. The installs department informs me that it won't be possible as that installation crew was contracted by Trail and they didn't want to pay an outside contractor addition trip fees. We did not accept that excuse. Installed then gets booked in for install. Installer contacts us morning of install to inform us that upon picking up hood fan stack, he realized they did not include the tabs on the stack which are used to screw in the stack to the ceiling. Installation cancelled for a 5th time, stack goes back to Trail. 2 weeks later we called and left s message with Art, the store manager and leave a message requesting an update. Almost 6 months after ordering....we still have not heard from him.
We own a construction / design company in Calgary and have recommended dozens of our clients annually to Trail Appliances. After this pathetic experience on how poorly this company operates, we will no longer be doing this.
Did they offer us any form of compensation? No.
Have they gone out of their way to make things easier? No.
Does it take less time to build a home from scratch than it is to receive an appliance from Trail? Absolutely!
Don't waste your time going here.
We are going into October and still waiting on this from an April order. With any luck, my children may enjoy it long after I've passed and left them the home in my will.

We have been shopping at Trail Appliances for approximately 20 years. Their sales staff are very professional and their appliances are top quality. Their hours of operation are very convenient allowing us to shop in the evenings or on weekends.

if you care about your money, time and peace... please dont` buy from trail. they sell but dont service even you pay extended warranty.

we bought 5 high-end appliances for $8k + extended warranty of four years in around last october 2013.

range and fridge malfunction in may 2014 and i am still waiting for right part to come and fix , its over 02 months now.

this is a super pathetic service rep in edmonton south, "nothing works and noone cares".

i dont understand how they are in business, they should be penalised for mental harrasment and wrongful commitments to customer.

p.s. i have never written a review about any product or service so far in my life, but kudos to trail team; they can make anything happen.

I purchased a stove from Trail Appliances. The staff were helpful but kept directing me to more expensive models which I didn't need. I found a good deal in the end and am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought hot water tank and they installed next day. Lowest price in the market. customer service were nice and they price match with rona whiteout flyer. I would recommended to my friends.

I purchased new kitchen appliances from trail that included fridge, stove, and dish washer. Trevor the sales consultant was helpful in choosing what I needed and giving me the best price where I felt happy with my purchase. Everything I got was in stock so the only thing was set up a delivery date which they worked with me that the plumber would have the gas for the stove ready to go. The delivery came on time and they were careful not to damage my hard wood floors. This is the second set of appliances I bought from Trail do to their service. If I have a problem they have their own service technicians to repair it at a good price and from my experience they have the best delivery with no hidden costs.

Had water softener installer. Installer was great. Took a lot longer than expected but work done well. Was an additional $50 to install bypass to fridge line which I thought was fair

I need to replace my dishwasher because was broke, so i went to Trial Appliances to find a new one, I find the perfect one that i need and as well i hire the technician to install it. The technician came on time, the day they promised to come, he did an excellent job, he tried the new dishwasher few times just to make sure it was working properly, he did a clean a nice job. I am so happy with the service they provide. Excellent products, and excellent service. I love my new dishwasher yeah !!!
