Matt did a fantastic job. I was impressed with his attention to detail and the time he took to answer my questions. He also took the time to explain the process and show me the dirt that was in my ducts. I am a very detail oriented person and very particular about any work done in my home. I was extremely happy with the work and will recommend Modern PURAIR to all my family, colleagues and friends. I have used a couple of other companies in the past but I was not happy with the result. I will only use Modern PURAIR in the future. Thanks again for the great work.

I was looking for a good and reputable company to come clean our heating ducts. I had read a couple of reviews for Modern PURAIR and they were also recommended by a company that did maintenance on my heat pump, furnace and fireplaces. I have to say that these guys were very professional throughout the entire process from booking the appointment to getting the work done. They couldn't make it on the requested appt date, but called a few days ahead to explain the reason and were able to rebook as per my schedule - I really appreciated this as sometimes these service companies don't call at all.

The service techs that came to my house to do the job were Tim and Keith and both of them knew their stuff, fully explained how Modern PURAIR was different than other companies in the same line of work and were very professional throughout. They were cognizant to ensure to not damage and keep my house clean (laying sheets on the carpet, ensuring the air pipes they brought in were clean) throughout the entire process and when bringing their equipment into and out of the house. Additionally, they made some recommendations and even cleaned my dryer vent!

I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get their ducts cleaned!

We had not had our furnace ducts cleaned for at least 10 years, so they were long overdue. I phoned a number of companies and received quotes over a broad price range. I decided to check the Homestars website, as we had used it before, when we had some windows replaced in our home, and found it very helpful. After reading a number of reviews for different companies, I called Modern Purair, and asked for a quote. Before they gave me their quote, the lady explained how their whole cleaning process worked. She then answered a couple of questions that I had. I felt extremely satisfied and confident with choosing to use Modern Purair, and booked an appointment.The service rep., Matt Taylor, showed up on time and was extremely courteous. He explained the procedure again and asked if we had any questions. He surveyed the job, which included having the Dryer vent piping cleaned, and explained it would take approx. 2.5 hours. He then went to work. I went and bugged him a couple of times with more questions. Each time, he stopped immediately to answer them, all the while, being very polite and courteous. From the time Matt rang the doorbell, until the truck was loaded and the bill was paid was a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Matt was a super nice guy ,very helpful and friendly. My wife, Sheila and I are extremely happy with his work, as well as that of the phone rep, who I talked to initially. We would not only highly recommend Modern Purair, we already have to our neighbours.

We had recently purchased our house and done renovations which left the inside of our house full of dust. We knew that duct cleaning was needed before we could start up our heating system for the winter. After getting a thorough explanation of the process over the phone and reading all the great reviews I felt really good about using modern purair for the work. Matt showed up promptly , which is more than I can say about myself and writing this review , sorry Matt. I was very impressed when he opened the van doors, clean , neat, obviously well maintained. I'm a trades person myself and I find that most times how people treat their own tools and equipment reflects on how they will treat your property. Because I need to know how everything works I was with Matt the entire time. Asking questions and generally getting in the way. He was happy to walk me through the entire process and answered all my questions. My modest sized home took nearly four hours so it was a very thorough process. I've heard all kinds of stories of companies running through these jobs in much less time. I can't believe they could do a house like mine in less time.

It had been far too long since the last time I had a HVAC cleaning. I called a number of companies but decided to go with Modern Purair . They have a number of great reviews and they specialize in this type of cleaning. I received a quote and it included a detailed list of what they would do.
They even gave me a 100% 30 day satisfaction guarantee.
They showed up about 30 minutes later than expected but had called to let me know they were running late which I really appreciated. They cleaned the furnace fan, compartment, heat exchanger and A/C coil. They cleaned each individual duct and also the main duct with compressed air. They did a test and informed me of any deficiencies. I really was very impressed with the service and will call them again in 3-4 years as they recommend.

We recently moved into our new house and discovered that the dryer vent outside did not produce very much airflow. My husband being the cautious person suggested that we have the dryer vent cleaned. So we called a few different companies for quotes on the cost and although Modern Purair wasn't the cheapest they were the friendliest and were able to schedule us in quickly. We initially wanted our dyer vent and our HRV cleaned but when Matt came and inspected the HRV he said that it looked like the unit was never used and therefore suggested that we forego cleaning. Alas when he inspected the dryer vent that was another story! The vent was clogged with what I suspect was 10 years worth of lint from the previous owner. Matt was able to clean out the very VERY long dryer vent also cleaned up after. He was extremely friendly and hardworking. He was also very honest and we have no hesitation in hiring Modern Purair for any future maintenance of our ducts.

We are a small Strata. 28 Units. I contacted them and they were able to accomodate us within 2 weeks. Tyler is extremely professional and worked hard to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Keith and Matt who also work for the company display the same kind of professionalism. They cleaned up everything very well and did an excellent job for us. I would highly recommend this company.

I highly recommend Modern Purair….right from the first phone call they instilled confidence in choosing them for the job. The questions asked on the phone about our needs and our set up made me realize they knew what they were doing.They were on time,extremely knowledgeable and not at all upset at the very difficult access to our dryer vent. We will be using them for all our household venting cleaning from now on. Kudos to Matt for his cheerful and mannerly approach to the job.

We called Modern Purair for duct cleaning in our recently renovated home. Matt Taylor came on time and was very professional. He cleaned the ducts as required and also offered to do the dryer vent a no cost. Thank god he did as it was pretty clogged up in there. He also replaced the filter and offered an extra service to prevent mold in the vents at a low cost.
My husband and I were very happy and would definitely recommend modern purair for a thorough and excellent job!
