I couldn't say more good things about my experience with Modern PURAIR. From the convenience of online booking to paying the invoice. Keith was fantastic, courteous, friendly and had a great sense of humour. He explained the process and was finished in the time stated and went through the invoice in detail so I knew exactly what happened. He even pointed out some oddities in my house that other companies failed to mention, which will be extremely helpful as renovations continue. I found the price competitive and reasonable for the level of service you receive. It was also refreshing to see a contractor be so friendly to my dog and she was extremely happy to make a new friend. I will most definitely be using them again.

When we moved into our 16 yr old house 4 years ago, all 5 of us, plus the dog, began to develop hay fever, allergies and trouble breathing almost overnight. Another company came to clean the ducts, but it seemed to make little difference to our respiratory symptoms. Over the next 3.5 years, construction next to us, and in our basement generated much stone dust, sawdust, & concrete and construction dust. Now that all the major construction around us has settled, I turned to Homestars to find a reputable duct cleaning service. I chose Modern PURAIR because of the favourable reviews and extensive information on their website.
Tyler showed up after his warning call on time and prepared to work. Because of our HVAC system, the job was twice as big as he originally been prepared for, so he called the office to double check on the quote I had previously received, and worked out a more-than-reasonable cost for two systems with 44 vents, and dryer duct cleaning. He worked steadily, efficiently, non-stop for over 5 hours until the system was completely cleaned and sanitized. After changing the furnace and HVAC filters, he cleaned the entire outside surface of the furnace and its visible ducts in the furnace room. He even cleaned up the mountain of dryer lint that landed outside after he blew out the 30 ft long dryer duct. I was very impressed with his work ethic, and he represented Modern PURAIR extremely well. Since the ducts were cleaned my asthma seems much better. I would heartily recommend this company without hesitation.

After looking up reviews on homestars I noticed Modern Purair had a high rating so I gave them a call. Before I booked the appointment I had 2 different companies come by for quotes. Both were quite a bit more than Purair. On the day the technician Tim showed up on time and was very informative on the work that he was going to perform. You could tell he took his job seriously and enjoyed what he does. His work ethic was second to none. After the furnace ducts were cleaned he asked me about the dryer vent which I had forgotten to ask about. I'm glad he brought it up because the vent was plugged pretty bad.
Very happy with this companies work and the technician was great to deal with.

First time I have used this company. Tim arrived on time and did an excellent job, while explaining what he was doing. Thorough job done in two hours. Over past 20 years I have used many Duct Cleaning services,
from small owner operators,and to the so called Best and Biggest.
Some were ok but many are uneducated and just did quick clean ups.

That is until I found Modern PurAir.
They care about their reputation and service offer.
They are not in for making a quick buck,but making a long term customer.
From calling into the call center and Holly taking time,and patience to answer all my many questions,and Matt as well took time to answer all my questions and concerns.

Keith was my duct cleaner,and was great.
They give you a 1 hour time window for their arrival time,
calling you 20-30 minutes prior to their arrival.
Keith was very knowledgeable and their equipment they use
is all like new,and kept all their work areas very clean.
They even show you the debris that sucked out of your vents.

I was extremely happy with their work ethic,knowledge,and
did an amazing job cleaning the vents on the house I live and am caretaker of.
I have my share allergies,and have 2 hepa filters I run in my house,and always cleaning the filters,from the dust,due to having forced air duct heating.

Since I have had my ducts cleaned by Keith,and Modern Purair
I am amazed how little dust appears on the filters

Many homeowners come to me for trusted trades and services,that
can refer to them.
I will now only use Modern Purair for all duct cleaning.

Their prices are competitive,and if your ducts are cleaned right first time,you should get 3-4 years between your duct cleaning.
There may be cheap duct cleaners offering to good to be true deals
save your money,they are not worth it.

Matt called and explained the process to me in detail and what to expect. When time came for our appointment, Stuart was professional and polite. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. He explained what he was doing and why. After I inspected the work, I noticed he took care to leave it tidy. Time was spend showing me what was done and the amount of dirt that was captured. He explained the type of filters to use for the furnace. Overall I was very pleased with the quality of work. I would use them again and would recommend them to people I know.

Matt and Scott did a wonderful job. Matt fully explained the process involved in the cleaning and the benefits with going with their company to do the job. I believe that their company was better than the other two that we used before

I was going to get my ducts cleaned by the company that replaced my furnace but they were booked thru the next few weeks. So I searched the internet to see who else I could call. I stumbled upon this home stars site and found Modern Purair...it seemed like they were focused on this as their bread and butter so I decided to go with them because of great reviews from other customers.

The reviews were right! They were on time and professional! Matt, our technician was great...explained everything step by step. They maybe more expensive but they don't recommend another service for another 3-4 years...which probably makes is more cost effective than the other companies. Don't hesitate...call them...don't look elsewhere you won't be sorry!
