You dont usually hear the phrase pleasurable experience when it comes to finishing a basement, but T-ROC made it feel that way from the first visit. They say to trust your gut, and I knew from the start that this was the company to go with. Ive used one of their painters before and saw he was wearing a shirt that said The Renovators of Canada on it and asked if he did basements or knew anyone that did that he would recommend. He immediately said T-ROC and he had David reach out to me. David showed up right on time, if not a couple of minutes early for the consult, and listened. He was professional, calm, and answered all of my initial questions. He scheduled a time for us to review the proposal for the following week. He took his time to go through line-by-line, answered my questions, broke down the phases, the costs, etc A small deposit was all that was required to secure the job, I wasnt financing the entire thing out of the gate. In fact, David even said to me that if a company asks for a large deposit, run. Stayed on budget, was exactly the amount proposed, everyone was truly professional, punctual, clean, and so nice to work with. An absolute pleasure. Our home is complete. We are thrilled with the results and have no hesitation recommending T-ROC to anyone for any job that they need to get done. Thank you T-ROC Team.

This is a very honest, hard working and trust worthy company. The renovations started and finished on time and on budget. Cesar, the team leader, was very detailed oriented and excellent at managing and organizing the various trades people. He offered guidance and suggestions to help create our beautiful bathroom. All the trades people did an excellent job and were very respectful of our home by protecting the floors and cleaning up at the end of each day. We are very happy and highly recommend them.

From the onset, T-ROC had a clear understanding of the scope and details of the job, and made cost-effective and timely suggestions that matched what we were looking for.

We met with David and Cesar and were impressed with their professionalism. Our site supervisor Cesar handled the project seamlessly, engaging trades people, working with our architect and with City inspectors. He gave us regular updates as we moved forward keeping in mind the budget and time requirements. We were impressed with his knowledge and his attention to detail and we felt confident in the work being done.

The project was completed successfully and we are extremely satisfied with the end result and are happy to recommend them.

My wife and I love our renovated kitchen. The T-ROC team members that worked on our kitchen did a great job. Most were highly skilled, efficient and took pride in their work.

High praise to Johsua, who did an excellent job installing/assembling our kitchen cabinets, pantry, island, drawer rollouts, built-in microwave shelf and the revolving corner shelf.

Mark the plumber always does great work. He connected the sink, re-routed some pipes and hooked up the dishwasher.

The electrical team installed LED lights on the ceiling and under the upper cabinets. They installed electrical outlets on the walls and on the island.

Mehmet did an excellent job of painting the kitchen and completing the finishing touches.

William did a good job of managing the project. He was responsive to questions and was focused on client satisfaction.

However, there were challenges during the renovation. First, the final cost was over 10% higher than the quote. This was due to a failure to identify several costs. Secondly, measuring and design errors resulted in half of the cabinets that were delivered having to be exchanged. Consequently, the kitchen's completion took a week longer than expected. These challenges were stressful for us and disrupted our schedules. We received no compensation and it was disappointing to be told "these things happen."

If you choose T-ROC, the workmanship is good, but the resolution of challenges may not be to your liking.

I am very pleased with the work from T-ROC. Cesar the team Lead was especially good at listening to what I wanted and to explain what work would be done each day All staff was very professional and attentive to detail.

I reached out to a number of potential contractors through an extensive Google search and David from TROC responded quickly and asked to set-up a meeting at my home to discuss what I was looking for. All of the other contractors were asking for measurements and info that I wasnt ready to decide on yet. David was really professional and personable and gave me the right amount of options. I ended up deciding to go with a much more extensive Reno than I initially contemplated. Cesar was the project manager and did a La amazing job of helping me make decisions about what was needed and the various options I had and helped me manage my expectations around timing and what life would look like during the Reno. David and Cesar (and all of the contractors that I met) were so professional and understanding of the stress of the Reno and did everything they could to keep things on time and on budget. Thank you!! TROC will be my future go-to for any work I need done.

From beginning to end, it was a pleasure to deal with The Renovators of Canada.
David gave us a clear and very fair estimate for the job, he was polite, attentive and thorough with the job description.
Once the job started, Cesar, their contractors Lead hand, made sure that all the trades were well organized and lined up to every facet of the project.
All the contractors were knowledgeable and dedicated to their jobs, polite and well mannered.
The job was completed as expected, the contractors clean their work area and David and Cesar returned
to inspect the final job and confirm all was up to expectations.
I will call them again for any future projects and recommend them without hesitation.

T-ROC is an amazing contracting company. They are honest, upfront and no surprises. Very professional and great quality work. All their trades are friendly and very respectful.

I hired TROC to do a full basement renovation. Tearing down the old walls, built a bathroom & changed the water heater. They were able to get started on the job quickly, they built everything with techniques and materials that resulted in a great quality. What I liked the most about TROC is how they were able to solve any problem and make the most out of the space I had available.

We had TROC do extensive renovations on our new house in Toronto. Cesar and Perry did an outstanding job on our house. They were there every step of the way, were responsive, knowledgeable and caring of our situation knowing we had young kids waiting to move in. They were able to coordinate getting full central air installed from scratch, masonry work, asbestos removal, extensive plumbing, structural wall removal, basement windows replaced, new railing installed and numerous other items done all within 2 and a half months. Truly remarkable what they were able to accomplish in that timeframe. The work isnt cheap but the quality and care are worth it if you want the job done right.
