Perry and his team did a great job finishing part of our basement. They framed and installed drywall to finish the ceiling, installed flooring, framed a window, and painted the whole room. It looks great! Right from our first contact with Ronald to working with William and his team, and finishing off with Ali and Danny. All the workers are skilled, experienced, and dedicated. They were also very friendly and respectful. Communication was always very clear, either in person, by phone, or email. The work progress and invoices were conveniently shared with us on the Buildertrend website. Thank you to Perry and his team. We are very happy with our finished basement.

Mold remediation done in basement study last year. The Renovators of Canada staff did drywalling, rebuilding of wood file cabinets, installing luxury vinyl flooring, and painting including cabinets. Powder room also repainted. Great job done-Cesar, Mehmet and William who demonstrated dedication, skill, and hard work-pleasure to have them working in our home.

We hired TROC to install shelves in various rooms in our house and to re-seal the bathrooms (as the silicone was coming off). There were some key attributes that I really appreciated from this company:

I oringally hesitated to contact The Renovators of Canada because our job seemed a little too small. We just wanted to remove the stucco from our ceiling and install potlights throughout the main floor.

But I was wrong. TROC treated us like we were their most important customer. The communication throughout was amazing. They began on time, kept us informed about the progress each day and what would happen the next day, finished a couple of days ahead of schedule and came in under budget. They were completely professional, very curteous and very considerate of us as they worked. I would absolutely use The Renovators of Canada again.

Used this company to do a load bearing wall removal. Every step of the process was great. Very transparent, on time, available for questions and kept the project exactly on track and scope. Received daily updates and photos as work progressed.

We had a really wonderful experience working with Perry, Cam and Rodney. They were very honest and found another way to do the job which resulted in being under budget. The quality of their work was clean and professional. Communication was clear, consistent and accessible. Everything was done professionally, with clear agreements, invoicing and reporting (using a great app). We experienced a slight delay at one point, but even that was due to an extenuating circumstance, and there was always communication. The team cleaned the house quite well on the way out and were respectful of our home and daily routine. Strongly recommend this team for any home project.

Hired T-Roc to convert a basement to a legal unit. Plus removing a load baring wall on the main floor. A rather large project. I got quote from 20 contractors and chose T-Roc to do the job. In my first interaction, Perry impressed me with his personality and with work ethics. It turned out not only he is a genuine person, but also the work quality was great.

My experience with T-ROC was awesome and I cannot say enough great things about them!

T-ROC built us an aesthetically pleasing, solid outdoor front and rear wood decks for our semi-detached home in Toronto in a timely manner, with excellent service and execution throughout. They were highly organized, attentive, detail oriented, transparent, flexible, accessible, and swift in their responses and site follow-up, which I highly valued.

T-ROC assessed the site carefully, prepped properly and were organized and operationally tidy the entire time. I made a couple of additional requests (wire mesh and metal sheet installation), and T-ROC incorporated these without any issue.

Perry, at the helm, is top notch to work with and he oversaw the project from scope to completion, including budgeting, hiring a structural engineer and to obtaining the required permits. I found him professional, honest, reliable, organized and accommodating to our requirements for implementation, not to mention his patience as we worked through the initial wood selection.

Our project stayed on budget, and in fact there was even a refund from the initial material deposit which we opted to use to undertake a few extra items. Throughout the project it was apparent that Perry’s commitment to delivering excellence in construction and service trickles down to his team.

Cam, our Contractor Site Supervisor, was super nice, uber smart and talented, and constantly thinking outside the box to solve and navigate site issues that arose. Cam never failed to present options with sketches for our approval prior to execution. We were always notified of the next day’s work plan. Cam worked well and in a respectful manner with the City’s inspectors and our neighbors.

His crew, Rodney and Anthony, showed up each morning with a great attitude and work ethic despite the challenges presented by the weather and pandemic.

I was able to check-in on the project in detail remotely via T-ROC’s software, which I found invaluable, with T-ROC’s posting site updates up to twice a day with photos, videos, daily logs, future day’s work plan, emails, including files of project drawings and finances. This kept me very well informed, as if I was on-site at all times.

I highly recommend T-ROC to anyone looking for a trustworthy professional contracting company whether for a small or large project. Excellent standards of work, impeccable service, and they listen, offer options, and then advise appropriately. This really helped take the stress out of our project… and they are super nice guys to work with. I am already looking forward to working with T-ROC on our next project!

I recently purchased an old Toronto semi-detatched home that had almost top to bottom knob and tube wiring. Perry, Cam, and team did an excellent job re-wiring the entire house, and repairing the plaster work after the extensive demo work required. They are highly professional, communicative, and accommodating. They worked hard to make a tight completion timeline over the holidays while I was out of town, and kept me fully in the loop with tons of pictures and daily updates. I'll likely be doing more work on the house in the future and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again. Highly recommend!
