I test my furnace at the end of summer to make sure its working and if there is an issue its cheaper to get it fixed before winter. So I did just that an dour furnace wasn't heating up at all. My friend told me to call jcj mechanical ant they took a look and fixed it. They said it was a hot surface ignition problem and gave me a great deal on it.

I needed some duct work and cleaning after a renovation project that was completed in my rec room and second floor. I took the time to look for a company that wouldn't kill my bank account because i have already spent sooo much money on my renovation project. I'd like to thank John from JCJ mechanical because he was so nice and helpful. i had so many questions and he answered them all and made sure i understood. i will tell all my friends from church for a job well done.

Its been a really crazy summer and gotta start looking after my to do list. We puchased a furnace a couple of years ago from jcj mechanical and since ive been so pleased with his workmanship i thought id give him a call to clean and inspect my furnace. They have a great promo combo furnace cleaning and furnace inspection for $129.00 which is a great price. i called another company and the charge double. They said they had to charge a gas surcharge to come to toronto! what????? wow

Hi folks. I've owned a recording studio for 10 years, with central AC. I have had a hell of a time finding a company to take care of my yearly AC maintenance, and while the company I dealt with to install my system was pretty good, they were expensive. The reality is, through homestars, I found jcj mechanical, and in doing so, I believe my search is now over. They guys who showed up (Edwars and john jr) did what I believe is the most thorough job of restoring my unit to its optimum running condition - no joke - that I have ever had done. Most companies do not check the coils in the air handler - these fellas did. Most companies don't want to take the time to clean the coils in the condensing unit as well as these guys did.

I am an ardent supporter of homestars and the benefit to consumers from the reviews here. I think this is a case where 10 stars is very appropriate. These guys came and did a job that no less than five other companies have done and in my opinion, did it better than any of them. Really nice guys as well. Thanks for giving me a reason to be happy. . .

When our AC went out, we tried to go through our home warranty company for the repairs - big mistake! After more than ten days, we were still getting the run-around from the warranty co. and the repair company they chose, and all the while we, our baby and our pets were melting in the gta heat this summer. Desperate for some relief, my sister told me to check homestars for a contractor so i found jcj mechanical i called. they were at our house the same day. By the next morning he had located a replacement part, and gave us a time later in the day when he would come and do the work. He showed up on time and did a great job, and he even came by this morning to make sure that things were running smoothly. He also gave us some advice on future AC work we might need, but did not pressure us in any way or use scare tactics.

After a real ordeal with our warranty company, working with John was a relief and a delight. I would hire him again in an instant. If you have an AC problem and need help fast, John and jcj mechanical are the people to call.

We've worked with John at JCJ Mechanical for a few years now, for our home in Mississauga, these guys are fantastic. Initially they maintained our 25yr old furnace, and then when it finally kicked the bucket they installed the new one.

JCJ Mechanical is 100% trustworthy and incredibly responsive be that through eMail, their cell phones after hours or through the office. When our old furnace died (as it all too often did) they were out here the same day to make sure we didn't freeze.

Lastly, when it came time to buy the new system, John walked me through all the various options and models and then filled in all the paperwork for us to get the government tax breaks and rebates.

I would strongly recommend working with Jcj Mechanical, and if we ever do move to another place in the GTA I know I'll call them again for that one too.

Over the past 4+ years I've had three different companies and four service people come out to figure out what was wrong with my Central air conditioner and my furnace. None of them could figure out what was wrong, although they were more than happy to charge me for the visit. I saved my money, thinking I'd need to buy a new systems to get it working, then called Jcj mechanical . They sent out Edward, a very professional and gifted tech. He figured out the problem in minutes, quoted a fair price and stuck to it. I can't recommend this company highly enough. It's amazing to have a working HVAC system after all this time.

I found JCJ mechanical on Homestars and was so glad I did. After being given the run around by a half-dozen fly-by-night operations when my A/C broke down last year, I wanted to find somebody reliable, and these were definitely my guys.

I got an appointment exactly when I needed it, and the repairman arrived exactly within the window they said he would. It only took him 20 minutes to diagnose and solve my problem.

A replaceable part needed replacing; he replaced it. That's the way it should work! And after convincing myself I was going to have to replace the whole central Air conditioner unit, I only wound up $150 poorer. These are definitely the guys I'll trust from now on. I know ill been a new furnace and central air system in the next couple of years and i wont hesitate to call JCJ mechanical.

This summer has been awful since our AC stopped working last year.
