We have a 8 year old York high efficiency furnace. It seemed as though the thermostat was malfunctioning as it was showing varying room temperatures within 15 minutes and it wouldn't hold the desired temperature. The furnace filter was really dirty & needed to be changed. Even after changing the filter and turning the furnace off/on the furnace was not running the way it should. I went online desperate for help as outside was really cold -7•c, and inside the house was not warming up. I called a company who stated that all their contractors were booked for the night. Then, I came across the number for JCJ Mechanical Contractors. John quickly diagnosed what was happening and the furnace was fixed in less than 15 minutes. "We now have heat!" I will definitely contact John for any servicing/repairs and will refer JCJ Mechanical Contractors to family & friends.

We have a five year old Fujitsu compact high-efficiency air conditioner/heater on our third floor. The machine has had an increasingly noisy and inefficient A/C-Heating operation for the past year. Finally, we found JCJ Mechanical on the HomeStars site and decided to phone for a diagnostic and estimate. Edward came precisely on time and determined that the motor was defective and had to be replaced. He ordered the motor and within one week was back at our home for the installation of the new motor. Edward worked continuously for 4 1/2 hours and completed the repair--slightly underestimate of $900-1,000. The Fujitsu is now working at full efficiency and is completely soundless. We will not hesitate to use them again for any other AC/Heating repairs or service.

I own a building at 920 Yonge Street. It was built in the 70's and has an induction HVAC system. This type of system was put into office towers like the TD centre in the 70's. My staff were in winter jackets in the summer and t-shirts in the winter . We experienced a lot of difficulty with the company we were using because they could not find a solution in order to provide us with a comfortable work environment .We searched to find a company who knew how to work with this antiquated system and after much due diligence we found JCJ Mechanical who solved all our HVAC issues. JCJ Mechanical has been providing our company with HVAC solutions for years now. One of our server rooms outgrew its current cooling set up, and we hired JCJ to supply and install a brand new 5 ton HVAC unit.

Every time I called John, he was immediately available to guide me on the phone to help me with either the air conditioning and furnace, no matter how big or small the issues were. The company installed the air conditioner last year for a good price and excellent service. This year I called for the furnace maintenance and they were here immediately and fixed again what needed to be done. Everyone was polite, skillful and experienced and did the job great. John was always available for me to ask a question if I didn't understand what was going on. Everyone should use these guys!

JCJ Mechanical earned my business. John assisted me by phone in regards to my warranty and pointed me in the right direction on how to proceed with the ceased motor in my air conditioning unit. After some investigation of my warranty I felt confident that JCJ would not leave me with the disaster that the original installer left me with . Edward who works for JCJ came to my house yesterday 06/12/14 after work diagnosed the problem. Early this morning he went to pick up the parts needed and just showed up to fix the air conditioner even though I was not supposed to be home. He wanted to solve the issue asap for myself and my dog with the heat quickly approaching and deal with the bill later. Both gentlemen went above and beyond to help me. Not only did they earn my loyalty but I will recommend them to all family and friends.

After reading the reviews on this website and waiting for another company to show up (they never did after a week of calls!), I called John who first tried to help me fix the AC problem over the phone (i.e. check fuse panel, terrmostat, fan etc). Since these efforts did not identify the problem, he sent out Edward in less than 24 hours to find the problem. In short order, he found the disconnected wire at my furnace, explained the problem, fixed it and cleaned the AC unit and tested to make sure all was well. Not only did Edward fix my AC problem, he identified a problem with my neighbours AC unit (buzzing sound - compressor - that has been bugging us for 2 years!). I will let my neighbours know that their compressor is not functioning properly. I am very happy with their sevice and would recommend to anyone. Thanks Edward and John.
