When I decided to replace the whole windows and patio door on my 100-year-old semi-detached house in midtown toronto, I contacted Dmitri last October.
Dmitri visited my home early sat Morning and spent over 2 hours to measure and explain what I have to know before making final decision.
I was impressed by Dmitri's knowledge and passion. So, I decided to go with Galaxy windows right away.

In early of December, Alex and Vlad came and replaced 9 windows and patio door for 2 days.
They really worked hard and effectively. After completing their job, they cleaned up completely.

Now, I am really satisfied and very happy with their perfect workmanship. I would highly recommend the galaxy windows to anyone who expecting a reasonable price and professionalism.

I've used HomeStars before to vet potential contractors and I've learned that not all 'perfect' ratings are the same. However with Galaxy I was pleasantly surprised at the entire process. There are a lot of window installers out there and you can spend a lot of time talking to sales people and visiting showrooms (and I did all of that). Dmitri was very good (knowledgeable) at his job, and presented - in my opinion - an excellent balance of 'pressure vs. space' to close the deal; not too pushy but didn't forget to follow up after the initial visit either. What we were quoted was reasonable in cost and after checking out the HomeTech showroom we gave the go-ahead. Everything after that went smoothly as well. The windows were measured and a date set for the install. I was worried that some excuse would be made about not being able to make the date, but Alex and his team showed up right on time. They worked efficiently and were able to install the windows in one day, and they look fantastic! There was one minor glitch with one of the windows, however they came back once the new part arrived and swapped it in quickly. Over all I'm very impressed with the service received and would highly recommend Galaxy. When it comes time to replace the rest of our windows, we'll definitely use them again.

Dmitri, the rep, was very thorough in explaining the quality difference of their windows. I decided to go with their "Hometech" line of windows and a "brick to brick" installation. Had 7 windows installed by Alex and Vlad who were very skilled, polite and quick with the install. When replacing the rest of my windows they will be the company I'll be calling. Notice a huge difference in the warmth, in the rooms where windows were replaced. To save a bit of time and money I removed and replaced the trim myself.

Dimitri provided the quote for the installation of bay window and the doors and explained the entire process. Alex promptly followed for pre-inspection and measurement of doors and window. Alex and the team were on time on the installation date and started the work as mentioned without any delay. The installation went smoothly without any issues and they cleaned the place with no mess around. They were quite professional and the work they delivered were of high quality and standard. It started with a Free In-Home consultation by Dmitri. He was helpful and accommodating. He has strong knowledge on house structural requirements for windows. He explained features, performance, and style and looks important to me and fit my budget as well.
After I choose Galaxy WD Ltd as my contractor, Alex provided Pre-installation inspection and measurement and provided very flexible installation dates.
On the installation day, new windows delivered and installed by Authorized and insured installers - Alex and Vlad. They worked efficiently and fast. They replaced 10 windows and a patio door in same day. Placed large blanket/drop cloth prior and cleaned up after. Old windows and all debris were removed and disposed. The job site was completely clean-up.
Dmitri performed final inspection to ensure Installation done as requested. He was very prompt and responsive in taking care of my issues.
The top quality windows, craftsmanship and lifetime warranties exceed all that I had expected from Galax WD Ltd. I loved the outcome and they look amazing. I'm really happy with the whole experience and the price was very reasonable. I will definite hire Galaxy WD Ltd again and recommend them to anyone I know.

Excellent service. Dmitri was the sales person we dealt with. He was very knowledgeable and honest. Shows up on time and was very accurate with eta of the manufacturing and installation. Installers did a great job as well. Very professional and efficient. They also did a thorough job cleaning up. We were so happy with their work we ordered an entry door following the window installation.

We dealt with Dmitri from Galaxy windows and from the beginning he was super courteous, on time and knowledgeable about the window options. Time to install was less than a month and the work was done super cleanly even though we were initially concerned about the retrofit causing damage to the inside trims - all worked out very well.

The windows have the same features and are of better quality than what we've seen in higher price offerings. We're happy with the service and would recommend Galaxy Windows!
