I've used HomeStars before to vet potential contractors and I've learned that not all 'perfect' ratings are the same. However with Galaxy I was pleasantly surprised at the entire process. There are a lot of window installers out there and you can spend a lot of time talking to sales people and visiting showrooms (and I did all of that). Dmitri was very good (knowledgeable) at his job, and presented - in my opinion - an excellent balance of 'pressure vs. space' to close the deal; not too pushy but didn't forget to follow up after the initial visit either. What we were quoted was reasonable in cost and after checking out the HomeTech showroom we gave the go-ahead. Everything after that went smoothly as well. The windows were measured and a date set for the install. I was worried that some excuse would be made about not being able to make the date, but Alex and his team showed up right on time. They worked efficiently and were able to install the windows in one day, and they look fantastic! There was one minor glitch with one of the windows, however they came back once the new part arrived and swapped it in quickly. Over all I'm very impressed with the service received and would highly recommend Galaxy. When it comes time to replace the rest of our windows, we'll definitely use them again.
