We engaged them to do take charge of a bathroom installation in our basement. Was a big job with the bathroom area needing to be underpinned and the bathroom framed. We looked a few contractors but went with Tony O’ Donnell and Sons and we were very happy with their work. There were a few extras (that always come with projects like this) but they were very reasonable about it and kept us informed. They completed the majority of the work and organized subcontractors (tiler, painter, carpenter) to finish the project.
Very happy with the way the bathroom turned out, will be using them again.

Ben showed up early and began the work immediately removing the gas pipe. The work area was very confined and he didn't complain about me asking him to terminate the pipe even further into the wall, making it even more difficult.

After fixing the pipe he move on to the plumbing valve that i had installed, but couldn't figure out why it continued to leak. He could have easily began replacing everything and charging me for the additional hour of work. Instead, he assessed the valve and determined that tightening it would resolve the leak.

I can assure you that this company is about their clients and returning business.

I'll definitely be calling them for my bathroom renovations and any other work i have.

Ben arrived at the appointed time and completed the several separate tasks as required in just over four hours - including switching out some shut-offs in two bathrooms and a kitchen, changing a faucet in a bathroom and removing and installing a replacement sink and faucet in a bathroom. The work was completed to my satisfaction and the workspace was left tidy.

I called Tony after having major problems with another plumbing outfit. The other company could not undertake the work required to install under floor heating and basically walked away from the job. Tony, on the other hand, was extremely knowledgeable and quick to respond. He hand-built a customized manifold and managed to install it in an extremely tight space. The under floor pex was correctly installed and pressure tested.
I will be using Tony again to finish the rest of my renovation.

If Homestars allowed an "11" rating - Tony O'Donnell and Sons would merit it.

We just bought a property that needs fixing up and I was going to need some professionals tradesman. Prior to calling Tony O'Donnell and Sons, I was referred to another plumber and mechanical tradesman by a kitchen installer. Who told me what great work this guy does and how inexpensive he is.

As soon as he arrived he was giving me the most horrific scenarios on how badly things could be. I only called this plumber in to perform specific tasks and I find this guy running up a huge bill for me already. Examples such as the stack needed to be replaced because it was too old, the hot water heater needed to be replaced because of a leak, the radiators needed to be replaced because they were too old. We were standing on the 2nd floor and all I wanted to do was toss this guy out the window! I was not going to stand as being treated for being ignorant because I am not!

Needless to say I got rid of him and called my wife to find someone reputable off the net and we found Tony O'Donnell and Sons on Homestars. What a pleasant gentleman. We scheduled a time and on time as promised Tony sent his son Ben who came in quietly did the work that was expected of him. He needed to relocate some pipes in the bathroom for the vanity the tub and the main pipe for the toilet. Done without problems. He capped all of the pipes that were left cut and uncapped for the radiant heaters. When I asked him about the leak in the hot-water heater Ben said its a $25.00 valve that needs replacing(which the other plumber wanted to juice me for $500.00 to replace and install a new one.) he went and got one and did the job. He restarted the hot water boiler and then bled each of the rads. Great work no attitude no push to upsell I paid in full and was so happy with the work that was done.

A few weeks later I was cutting a subfloor with a skillsaw and the pipes for a radiant heater were closer to the surface than normal I cut through one and was in a panic. I called Tony who was on another job and was a little occupied. I shut off the main water and then the boiler and then Tony came up in a heart beat repaired the broken pipe. I am absolutely amazed by the level of professionalism, honesty and friendliness, that I have experienced with Tony O'Donnell and his boys. I am happy to say that I would use Tony and his sons again for future work without question. Small Company family run, individual service, value added and Very Highly Recommended.

This is the 3nd project these gentlemen completed for me. The first was for the installation of a backflo valve, the second for the repair of floor drains. In all cases the work was performed quickly, expertly and at very competitive prices, and as a bonus by two guys with a great attitude. I will use their services again.
