Alberta Furnace Cleaning

Have used this company exclusively over the 18 years we've lived in home. Had service done on this date & staff(Ha, Justin and Dillan) were the utmost in professionalism and customer service (as were the staff who made the phone calls prior to their arrival) Kudos to the 3 fellows. Only strange issue we had was being told there were 2 additional vents that had never been done which were done at this visit & which made our bill much higher than we were told . Given this is the ONLY company we have ever used in this home over 18 years - how is it that 2 ducts were never discovered and cleaned in ALL those years by the numerous technicians that came in and were supposed to be thorough in completing the job????

She contacted us today and has gone above & beyond anything we expected a company to do- an outstanding representative for your company- no wonder she has been there since 1984 which is actually how long we have been customers of your company. We arranged furnace and carpet cleaning for the day after we took possession of our new-to-us home. The gentlemen who did both pieces of work were friendly, professional and thorough. However, I took far too many calls to get it booked. I submitted the online booking form and got a call back (1) to confirm everything. Two days prior I received two separate calls confirming my booking (2, 3). On the day of the service, I received five calls about what time they were coming. Five! For a total of 8 calls for a pretty straight forward booking. All of the phone calls were a hassle given that I work and we have a zillion other move-related activities going on these days.

Guys arrived 10 minutes before their appointment and worked carefully to clean all of the ducks without making mess. They were very professional and honest with their work cleaning work.

The technicians are friendly when they're in your house to do their job. They answered all questions and kept the house tidy while doing their job. Price wise, this company is not competitive and seem to overcharge their clients. The quotes on the phone differ from what's advertised on social media, a little frustrating... The customer service representative on the phone was rude and her attitude was not appreciated. She was not organized and messed up the home address twice. Would recommend company to call their own line to see how their staff treat customers on the telephone to help improve customer experiences.

I got Alberta furnace cleaning to clean my furnace and ducts and I thought the price was very competitive , service was friendly and they did a good job. I would recommend this company

I'm a bit sheepish, I was a customer for a number of years but last year decided to go with a Groupon offer with another company (to save money, I thought!). Mistake. The other company was a complete rip off, the price was double what the Groupon had quoted, and the service was terrible - downright arrogant. I used Alberta Furnace Cleaning for years and took their quality of service and fair pricing for granted, but I won't do that again. I'll be calling them next time!

Just had them in to do our ducts. No complaint about the work but after using this company previously the technicians found extra ducts that on previous occasions weren't found. Huh ? Thus the quoted price went up considerably. They then tried to shill a 149.00 filter. Insult to injury. I also objected to being called at 7:15AM in the morning when they old told us they'd call at 8:00AM.

They came today cleaned the furnace and then left. Happy with the work. Tech were clean friendly. On time. After they left my A/C wouldn't work so I called them back within 20 mins they came took a look at it fixed the problem. Wire was off and fused burned out. Happy with them and there work Thanks so much

We had AFC come to our house on June 1 to clean our furnace. The crew arrived on time, were polite and clean, and appeared to do a good job. Unfortunately, something they did inside our furnace disabled our electronic humidifier. I noticed the problem several days later when the humidity in the house had fallen significantly.

The lady who took my complaint at AFC was completely unsympathetic to my problem, stating that their "policy" was to put me at the first open slot for someone to come and see about the problem. The lady must have used the word "policy" at least 10 times in our brief conversation, as if I should change my expectations because--by gosh--there was a "policy" to follow.

Eventually (days later) someone came and repaired the issue which was a wire they had jiggled loose inside the furnace. The repair technician claimed it was a "dirty connection," but since our humidifier is less than 5 months old, this was ridiculous.

I am pleased with the furnace cleaning and satisfied that the company repaired the damage that was done. I am not impressed at all with the attitude of the people at headquarters in dealing with complaints. If you should have a problem, I wish you luck.

We had our furnace/ducts/dryer vent cleaned on Saturday morning (June 1st, 2103). The technicians arrived within the window of 8 & 9 am and were courteous and appeared efficient. They did forget to clean the dryer vent and did a quick (not sure how thorough!) clean when we reminded them.
The cost was more than $600, which was substantially more than we anticipated, and we would have appreciated the technician confirming the final price before starting the work. But we are always willing to pay for a job well done and paid in full.
However, we returned home Saturday evening and found the furnace fan running constantly. There is no emergency contact information on the Alberta Furnace documentation or website, so we tried turning off the thermostat, but the fan continued running.
Early this morning my husband called AB Furnace to report the problem and request a follow-up service call. The woman that took his call was very rude and extremely unprofessional. She said she was “in the business a long time” and the fan isn’t a problem. She refused to even consider our request to expedite a service call or accommodate our schedule. She became so rude that my husband was forced to end the call.
The fact is that the fan has never been an issue prior to the visit from Alberta Furnace, and with the cooler weather over the weekend having the fan running was far less than ideal. We have now turned off the furnace main switch to stop the fan from running.
We are very disappointed by the absolute lack of customer service displayed by the person that answered our call this morning. At the very least this issue should be a priority as it resulted from work done by Alberta Furnace.
I will have to call Alberta Furnace once again this morning to arrange for a service call, and hope that they will live up to their website which promises: “From your first telephone call or e-mail to our post-service follow up, Alberta Furnace Cleaning people will work hard to make sure that your furnace cleaning experience is easy, convenient and tailored to fit your busy schedule.”
