Jem Wedding Cakes

My wedding was on August 29th, 20009. I was blown away by the service that I received from Jem Wedding cakes. I went with the full service package, and let me tell you no detail was spared. The decor was fabulous, the cake was melt in your mouth tasty, and the event co-ordinator was on the ball. We met with Judy and Melissa on a few occasions and they were very efficient and knew what needed to be completed so that no detail was spared. I could not imagine not haven't them be the ones to have done the services for our wedding. we were so happy with everything and the fact that their cakes are so yummy, that all our family and friends order their birthday cakes from them too. Kudos girls.

My wedding was July 2, 2005. I wanted a simple white icing wedding cake with a icing boarder across the top and bottom of each layer and small gold dragees (little edible gold balls)along the bottom border. I provided her with the cake stand and flowers to decorate the cake. I got a lop-sided, uneven mess. The icing was uneven with lots of bubles and holes. The cake layers them selves were not as tall as she had said they would be leaving large gaps between each layer on the cake stand. We had to keep trying to turn each layer to hide how bad it looked for all the pictures. It was very upsetting. She dropped off the cake when noone was around so there was no way of telling her how disappointed we were with how it looked. I would not recommend her service to anyone as she completly misrepresented her ability in providing us with a beautiful wedding cake but still charged us $150 for that mess she delivered.
Look at the pictures. These were the best ones that we have because all the others were so bad I was so upset that I got rid of them. You can see how lop-sided it is from far away. And you can see all the bubbles along the side of the cakes. The top of the cakes was even worst. Like she hadn't even tried to even out the icing at all. Because the tiers were so lop-sided and small you could see down onto the top of each layer and the mess she left them in.
