We asked Dee to come and give us an estimate on repainting three bedrooms, the hallway and bathroom on the 2nd floor, as well as our kitchen. There were areas where the drywall had sustained damage that required mudding and two of the rooms were dark colours we wanted converted to white. The estimate was fair and quick and Dee was able to schedule us in quickly.

The painting was done by Cameron and we are exceptionally pleased with the quality of his work; his attention to detail is great and our place looks spectacular. ColourWorks will be invited back to finish the house when renovations are complete.

I had several drywall repair and painting requirements including some drywall seams that had split due to the house settling and our main floor ceiling which had several small water leak damaged areas.
I phoned several highly rated painting companies ... Dee from ColourWorks promptly returned my call and set up a quick site visit to assess the job and provide a quote. Dee was professional and courteous upon entering our home and looked closely for the best approach to our issues. Dee provided a competitive quote and was also able to provide a full service repair and paint solution. As a side note, I had some painters who wanted me to get another contractor to do the repairs and then they would paint. MUCH more convenient and efficient to have the same crew take care of the one issue. And this is pretty common too. Dee sent painter Dale to our home shortly after agreeing to the quote and we could not have been happier. Dale was meticulous, polite, on time, tidy and most of all .... knew what to do to repair the various areas and paint them professionally so you cannot see the patches.
A complete pleasure dealing with Dee and Dale and I now know exactly who to call next time I need some paint work done in my home. Great to know there are genuine people who still take pride in delivering great service and results out there!

My initial consultation was with Dee. He was extremely kind and knew exactly what I wanted to achieve. When I vaguely mentioned colour ideas he suggested colours that were spot on to what I envisioned. Dale was the painter and he did a fabulous job! He was extremely thorough and detailed. We have an older home and the walls and ceilings were in rough shape and Dale took his time to do a thorough preparation of the walls before he painted (which I know was hard work but truly appreciated). The paint job was done extremely well and I couldn't be happier with the final result! I would highly recommend Colour Works and Dale as a painter.

Dee was very helpful in our colour choices. The first half of the job was good, the second half was sloppy as they rushed. Some examples: There were dried paint drips on the bathroom cabinet, insufficient paint coverage on 2 walls, paint on fixtures, line work was uneven. They did come back to fix it when asked, but it wasn't fixed well so we've done it ourselves. This company has 96 reviews all 10/10 and we were asked to place a good review as the workers get bonuses for this. Take note: These ratings from our experience are suspect.

After interviewing 3 Painting Companies Dee was a standout for his professionalism, knowledge and recommendations. We had a tight time frame to get the job done and Dee went the additional mile to make this happen. Cameron was very hard working, polite and proficient and did an amazing job. We will certainly use Dee again and highly recommend him to others.
