Dee Potter spent a great deal of time consulting and advising on color combinations for our downtown Toronto condo, in addition there was significant water damage on the windows as well a a fair bit of plastering to be done. Not only is Dee a master with respect to color and design, but he also works with the best of the best with respect to Dale, the painter assigned to the project. Dale works with a tremendous attention to detail and takes the utmost pride in his work, his trimming and finishing performed with a laser like precision. Dee and Dale are a dream team, these are the guys to hire if you are looking for professional advice for starters on a complete color change ( must mention as well that Dee has a gift for helping to advise on colors that will work with your existing flooring, draperies, and furniture, he knows exactly what will work for you). Dee was very professional, responsive and thorough from his initial visit to prepare a quote until the work was complete. He has a solid process from start to finish to ensure accuracy of details in terms of the job that needs to be done. Dale was assigned to our job. He did outstanding work! I found Colour Works on this site when I was searching for a professional painter to complete my full interior of my home and some exterior as well. Dee was very prompt, very resourceful and experienced in helping me with Color decisions during our meeting. He was very accommodating to schedule me in for the date that I needed and his crew was there on site the day of. Excellent work! ColourWorks painted the exterior of our house plus the dining and living rooms. The painters, Cameron and Mark were courteous, respectful and professional. Dee, the owner gave a very reasonable quote and came by to inspect, make sure everything was being done to my satisfaction and make colour suggestions to some additional work that we had done. I have no second thoughts to hiring them and would totally endorse the company. A "Major League Job" - a big thank you since my wife was thrilled with the work done.

I recently had the wood replaced on part of the front porch and thought it was a good time to repaint the whole porch. Dee came out, helped me pick two colours that would closely match originals and gave me an estimate which he followed up with a detailed email. He was very understanding when we had to reschedule the job because my neighbour came after Dee's visit to inform me that his contractor was coming to do major work on his house stripping off old roof, siding, etc. The job on my porch was resceduled for the following week. Julian arrived on time, took great care in preparing the areas for painting and in applying the two different paint colours. He cleaned up meticulously after finishing the prep and again after the painting. The porch had not been painted for at least 28 years! The final product is absolutely gorgeous.

Our house, deck, and fences were a big job, and somewhat complex. Colourworks did an excellent job from top to bottom. The quote was fair and thorough. The painting itself was high quality, the painters themselves friendly, accommodating, and the process of painting never disruptive to our days. The task was as much a restoration as it was a paint job and Colourworks made our house stunning again.

I was extremely pleased with the work that ColourWorks did for me. Dee was very prompt and professional and very pleasant to work with. Cameron was the painter and he was very prompt and efficient and he did a great job with the painting and the repairs that had to be made, a thorough cleanup. The whole process from initial consultation, quote, scheduling and to end of project took 1 week. Dee was very professional and helpful with assisting us in choosing a particular set of colours (we already had some in mind [Pinterest/Houzz] we just needed a bit of 'personality'). I originally wanted to go with very dark greys for an accent wall and he consulted us based on the decor and lighting we would be redecorating with (very honest!!). We also changed 2 of our colours and Dee was great with checking in with us and making sure our work order was very detailed. The invoice/work order was very detailed and we really appreciated this as it was formal--it really shows that they care about the service their providing you.

We had Cameron from Dee's team. He was very professional, prompt and friendly! I also liked that they were very accommodating around our work schedules and which rooms to start with.

Dee was prompt and thorough with the estimate and had some helpful suggestions. I felt very comfortable to have Dale in the house--as a live-alone who is out a lot of the time this is very important--he did an expert job and did a thorough clean-up. Altogether a respectful and satisfying experience.
