We were told my neighbours we needed our roof repaired. After calling one company and getting a quote that they would not honour - our even negotiate - we heard the ads on Talk 1010 NEWS RADIO and decided to give them a call. This company was professional all the way - from the original meeting at our home - to the visit to their office - to the quality of work provided while the job was being completed. The crew arrived when they said they would - or advised if there would be a delay. They worked efficiently and professionally - always cleaning up at the end of the day. Let it Rain installed the roof on our completed renovated and gutted home 4 years ago. We noticed this spring that my son's bedroom ceiling had a water stain. A review of the attic showed a problem with the flat roof they installed on our house and mold in the rafters. Obviously an ongoing problem. Another roofing company went up and documented the bad workmanship, temporarily patched up the problem within 1 day, 3 days later Let it Rain finally returned my call and sent a crew over. They agreed that I had a leaky roof and we never heard from them again......

Let It Rain replaced our roof shingles with 40 year GAF shingles. The team took about 3 working days to get the job done, but it was spread over a week due to heavy rain. The quality of their work was very good. We had to ask them back to paint over some of the flashing that reduced the "curb appeal" of the house and there are still some old nails that we're finding on the driveway, but we think that's just part of getting a new roof. Let It Rain provided us with a 10 year workmanship warranty and GAF gave us a 20 year manufacturer's warranty, so we feel protected. I would recommend this company to other homeowners for the sheer fact that they do quality installation of quality products at a reasonable price.

Unfortunately, I had a roof leak.. GREAT...

It was leaking around the flashing of the chimney, right onto a beautiful plaster ceiling and crown moulding. The damage is minimal, and luckily, inspection behind the wall revealed no significant damage or mould.

So, on to the roof fix - These guys quoted, were very competitive, and understood what had to be done, and they came VERY quickly! Not only that, the repair was done seamlessly. I couldn't tell WHERE the repair was!!

New singles were added, but matched so well. The only way I could tell was that the flashing was new, and the nails poking through the boards on the underside were new!

The old flashing was poorly done, and the new one was carefully crafted.

I also asked for them to install a roof vent for my kitchen exhaust. I put a screw threw the roof of where I wanted it (I wasn't home to tell them where I wanted it), and when I came home after work, it was done! A nice 10" compatible kitchen fan exhaust (I was connecting the ducting inside myself, I don't climb roofs!).

I'm very happy with the work, and unfortunately, I'm due for a roof soon - and I will certainly have them do the work. I have no doubt that they'll do a great job.

Also, there was NO mess. Nothing for me to clean. I was very happy about that.

We replaced our roof last year. My Etobicoke/Lakeshore neighbourhood is full of single story bungalows that represent a challenge for ventilation as access to the soffits requires going through brick. We got 8 quotes from companies like: [Competitor name removed--Ed] etc. We insisted on a GAF or Certainteed laminated shingle. We had quotes as low as $7,000 and a ridiculous $15,500 from [Competitor name removed--Ed].

Dave [last name removed--Ed] from Let It Rain provided the most thorough quote with complete brochures explaining all the different products that were being used in the entire roofing system. He supplied us with a very unique venting system called "The Edge" - a 1/4 inch vent that is installed the length of the house 3 feet from the base and propels air through the ridge vent. The quality and craftsmanship from the workers was outstanding and after a full year of having our year I am delighted with our purchase.

We found that their quote was in the middle of our highest and lowest but they provided the best value. We got the ridge vent, Edge vent, 40 year laminate GAF shingles, upgraded barrier underneath, drip edge and crickets for our chimneys. In addition, we got a 20 year unlimited warranty on the product and installation! GAF dropped by this past month and did an inspection and re-confirmed the warranty.

After getting so many quotes and meeting so many roofing companies, I honestly believe you'll find no better company to provide you with a high quality roof with good value for your money. Dave's followup and attention to detail will make you feel like you are valued customer and that no job is too big or small.

You'll hear about these guys on CFRB. My neighbour was so impressed he got a new roof from them as well. I highly recommend this company.

We received a quote from them. It was very detailed and helpful, but the price was the highest of all the quotes. We ended up going with another company that was much less expensive for a quality installation.

Roofing was done without a hitch and solved the water leak problem. Installtion of troughing is quite simple but these guys went above and beyond by doing some waterproofing/caulking and making many reasonable suggestions for additional improvements that were not meant as an upsell. We have recommend to others with positive experinces and we will use them on occassion in the future.

I choose the company Let it rain to replace my existing shingle roof. They removed the existing roof, replaced the existing wood planks that were not in good condition, then installed a new membrane and new shingles.

The quality of their work is excellent and it is done quickly (which is critical).

This company makes sure that the client is totally satisfied (they do a follow-up).

I cannot recommand enough them. So, they fully deserved the highest note.

We hired Let it Rain 3 years ago to do our roof and found them very knowlegdeable. They made recommendation to improve our roof and ventilation. They were on time, on schedule and on budget.

We recently contracted them to do the siding, soffit, fascia, and eavestrough on our house and once again found them to be knowledgable and flexible. They made some good recommendation about the work to be done.They were flexible on our choice of material which is not widely used because it is harder to install. At our request they amended the agreement to include all of the details we wanted to add (including drawings we made). The work was done promptly and professionally.

Dave who gave us an estimate and also explained the technical aspects of roofing and the various options. Dave was well informed, professional and very helpful. The installers were professional and did a great job. I am very happy with the roof. It has been over a year. It was worth the price especially with the harsh weather we've been having.
