Let It Rain, Ltd.

On June 4, 2020 Let It Rain Ltd. sent technician AJ to inspect our roof shingles, eavestroughs, downspouts, and gutter clean system that Let It Rain Ltd. had installed in 2007. Technician AJ performed excellent work; he inspected the complete installation, replaced one shingle sheet, cleaned four corners of the gutter clean system (corner plates had lifted and caused a gap), re-secured the corner plates with additional screws, and most important provided practical advice on how to repair a leak that apparently was not coming from the roof but from the siding. Thanks to AJ's technical and practical advice I was able to do the necessary sealing. Once again, thank you to Chanelle, Bruno and AJ for a most efficient and productive service call and to Let It Rain's excellent warranty program!

After narrowing down our search for roofers for our house we settled on Let It Rain Ltd even though their quote was more expensive than the others. Our decision was based on their professional approach to the offer and recommendations from others who had secured their services. This decision was the correct one for us because the job was completed with a very high level of performance and detail to quality. Their workers were approachable, enjoyed their job and were very diligent to performing at a very high level and with much attention to detail. Return visits to address our questions were undertaken without reservation. Bruno runs a very good team of workers who take pride in their work. Bruno came to our home to give us a second opinion related to a potential leak in our chimney. This was especially important to confirm as we changed from a wood fireplace to an electric one! The other company had determined that there was no evidence of leaks.
Bruno’s inspection found that there indeed was evidence of a potential leak. One he was able to fix quickly and easily and give us peace of mind that we w all need and love! After a full year of trying to get some quotes from various roofing companies (it's actually very difficult to even get someone to call you back), we finally got a reference for Let It Rain. From the first contact with the company, I was so surprised to actually be talking quickly to someone who organized a visit by their expert within a few days. The gentleman who came to evaluate our project was great, friendly, thorough in his survey of our property and, unlike some of the few other people we had met, he wasn't fazed by any aspect of our project: others had commented on the difficult access, on possible surprise problems once they would take things apart, etc. We got an estimate the very next day, complete with documentation on the products they use, insurance certificates, etc. And the price was just right (we had gotten estimates between 28k and 32K, with the exception of one major outlier at $65,000!). We decided to go with Let It Rain and we have not been disappointed. The whole process was easy and pain-free, from scheduling, planning, setting up, doing the work and cleaning up. Everyone on the team was hardworking, polite, respectful of our home and our neighbours's properties and the project supervisor was always on top of things and answered our questions promptly and in a friendly manner. We couldn't have been happier and are thrilled to recommend Let It Rain. Finding the right contractor for your project is always difficult, and when you do, you're happy to share with friends and neighbours.

Bruno and his staff did an excellent job of assessing the roof problems and following through with the work. The office staff are also a pleasure. A large oak tree in our backyard unexpectedly fell late one night recently causing significant damage to part of our roof making it no longer weather proof. We have been very satisfied customers of Let it Rain for many years so I called them and they immediately rearranged their schedule and had a team at our house virtually the next day to patch the roof. We recently had our roof re-shingled by Let It Rain. We had used this company on our last home 19 years ago and after getting several comparable estimates (including Let It Rain) we decided to use them again. We were not disappointed. Bruno, the president of Let It Rain, came out to inspect the roof. The roof on this home was very steep and labour intensive. He took the time to listen to our concerns and advised us on the different options available with no pressure. His office staff was also great and they promptly returned our calls.
The roofing crew that worked on our roof was amazing. Jonas and his crew were respectful, polite, approachable and hardworking. They were considerate of us and our property. Jonas was always available to answer any questions we had.
We would not hesitate to use Let It Rain again and would definitely recommend them.

From the estimate we received to the finished job, Let it Rain and its employees have exceeded my husband and I’s expectations.
