Granite Transformations

We were very impressed with our in-home consultation with Pauline. She helped us understand what the products were and which colours worked well together. On our second consultation and finalizing of our choices it was extremely helpful to us when we came to the showroom and talked to Pauline and the owner about how our choices would work. When it was time to do the "transformation" we were very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of Pat and Tim. With their skill and attention to detail, our kitchen has truly been transformed. Their workmanship was outstanding. We now have a beautiful updated kitchen instead of a tired old 35 year old kitchen. Once again thank you for the wonderful job. We will highly recommend Granite Transformations.

We could not be more pleased with the look and quality of our counters in our brand new home done by Granite Transformations. We encountered some issues with the installation however it was all handled by the owner of the company himself to rectify the situation. We have had 3 other family members use the company for their renovation countertop needs and all 3 parties are extremely pleased. It is a great product with minimal impact on the environment and that was important to us.

We discovered Granite Transformations at the Kelowna Home Show. I would have no trouble referring GT to friends or family. Excellent service from beginning to end. Kitchen complete...next up, bathroom.

Terrible customer service. Long story short, the templater didn’t show up for 3 appointments, no one called to let us know what was going on, they guaranteed that even with all the missed appointments the installation date absolutely would not change, they called the day before installation and asked to change the date due to a crew calling in sick, they showed up as scheduled for the install but only brought countertops for 2 of the 3 rooms, rescheduled for a 2nd install date and again didn’t show up. Still waiting to find out when the last countertop will be installed.
With all the missed appointments and problems, I received absolutely no calls from the office manager to let me know what was going on. I had to call her repeatedly, only to get nowhere, and she never followed through on anything she told us. Save yourself the nightmare and shop elsewhere.
Update in response to the Company Response:
The job was finally completed one month later than was agreed to in the contract, none of which was due to bad weather. As for the changes to our original request, had the job been done right the first time, I would have left it as it was. Since Granite Transformations had to come out and cut the corners off the island anyway, I asked that a bit of length be cut off the one end as well but I also said that if that’s too much of an inconvenience, not to bother, as it was our mistake. I’m sorry but I expected more of an effort from Granite Transformations to rectify the situation and to promote a good company reputation. Considering everything we went through and dealing with the former manager, we were given no further discounts and were "nickel and dimed" over the plumbing charges that we did ourselves. The finished product looks decent and I would think that the majority of customers have had a much better experience with Granite Transformations however, based on our experience, I still cannot recommend Granite Transformations.

Our experience with Granite Transformations was awesome. The staff in the showroom was very helpful in finding just the right materials and colour for the counters and backsplash to match our existing cupboards and fixtures. The staff who came out to do the measurements and the installation were friendly and efficient. We were so impressed that they had everything installed in one day, and we had a beautiful, new kitchen!
We are very happy with the product - it is easy to clean, tough and durable.
We wish we had done it sooner!

Initial sales and kitchen counter top installation went well. Backsplash has been a nightmare. Issues with product which are then compounded by phone calls not being returned and appointments not being kept. Management has been confrontational and not supportive...as I write this, a representative is now 75 mins late for an appointment to review the problems after not showing up for an appointment earlier this week....there was no phone call to let us know they were going to miss that phone call. The counters are great but follow up service is terrible.

Final Comments: The manager eventually made it to our home and agreed that the issues we had raised, were legitimate and that they would repair. It took a few more weeks but they did some a crew back to the house to finish the job. The good news is that Granite Transformations did come through and completed the job to our satisfaction and within their estimate. We are very satisfied with the end product and have had several positive comments from neighbours and friends who have seen it. They do provide a good product...it is unfortunate the service along the way was a little painful.

as always when we invest money in our home ,our concern is did we get value for dollars spent ,and were we confident in our contractor and lastly did they do as promised , the answer is yes to all the above , thanks to Susan and the G T team , would recommend to my family and friends

"i got my counter top installed in 2013. I wrote an earlier review on it and took a picture as well. In August of last year, I noticed a crack coming from a joint. It is about 4 inches long. I contacted the Calgary store and the customer service rep (Tammy) could not even be bothered to come and look at it. Rather she stated that I must have stood on the counter and caused it. I am 59 years old. I sure as heck am not going to be standing on my counter top! She took the word of her installer over me. Since I got nowhere from her, I contacted head office. They are just as bad as the Calgary office. They want to stand by their service rep(Tammy) instead of honoring the so-called "lifetime warranty" So It is not really a "lifetime warranty". Whatever happened to customer service. And God forbid if you should use them and get a crack in the joint, they will not cover it in their "lifetime warranty" I would never ever recommend them and their terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service. Received our counter tops Feb13, 2013. The bathroom top was not made to order. To this date with many unanswered calls, broken promise (many). We STILL as of July 7, 2013 do not have our counter top for our bathroom. Hence renos in this bathroom we are not able to complete. Management very unsatisfactory!!
