My apologies for not sending you this email earlier. As you very well know, we have been quite busy.
You can imagine that my sister and I have been hard at work unpacking the 200 plus boxes and getting settled into this large home.
When we decided to move from North York to Collingwood, it was of the utmost imortance that we find a professional, efficient, honest, patient and courteous moving company.
My sister and I are widows and are seniors. We don't have family close-by so we hire help when needed.
We had a very bad experience seven years ago with one of the big name national/international movers in Mississauga. We were terribly concerned about being taken advantage of once again.
Two Small Men With Big Hearts [1805 Wilson Avenue, North York, Ontario] provided everything we were looking for and that we needed. You made a difficult move, an orderly, organized and friendly process.
The three-man crew [Raman, Ashock and Anthony] were just terrific. We could not have had a more experienced and helpful group. I'd recommend them to anyone who appreciates the best!
Our move had to be broken up into two moves, a week apart. Both days the crew worked long hours but never lost patience or rushed us. We're forever grateful for their help.

Don's team was beyond excellent, very professional service in a very efficient manner time-wise. Saved me a lot of money when comparing with other companies. Would re-hire them with no hesitation, highly recommended

We had Dave and his crew at TSM Toronto move our home and office from Toronto to Kitchener. Dave is a very knowledgeable mover and ours was a challenging move. The crew worked very hard and efficiently, not taking long breaks like other movers we have experienced. Dave also assisted but did not charge for his time! There were some unexpected costs due to needing a second truck, but they only charged for fuel. I highly recommend their services.

I got 3 quotes. This company was the lowest and they offered me a discount if I would move on Sunday. I agreed and time was set for 9:00am. They phoned me at 7:00 the night before to ask to add another man to the 2 man crew and to come an hour earlier. Again I agreed. The actual bill was almost double what the quote was and over $300 higher than my highest quote. I feel like I got tricked. They lured me in with a low quote and then jacked the price up. They did a good job and nothing was broken but they were not very efficient, took at least two hours longer than they should have and the bill was no where near the quote and Sunday discount? Forget about that!! I'm not happy with this company at all. When I wrote to complain, the crew leader actually tried to tell me that my sister said I had a lot of stuff so she must be the authority. I don't even have any appliances. The crew lead offered NOTHING as compensation. No discount at all. I was not prepared to pay double what was quoted, and I didn't have enough cash on hand or enough room on my low limit credit card. I still owe over $300 and I don't feel I should have to pay it. I'm so sorry I chose this company. Their quotes mean nothing. The crew lead made zero attempt to meet me halfway.

The individuals I had the pleasure of working woth on our move were professional, courteous and diligent. The move was a pleasurable experience and made even better by the demeanour of the gentlemen who brought everything together. Even when an aspect of the move proved problematic, the company and the individuals were there with a solution immediately.

I seem to be the designated moving coordinator for family members, and have never had such a smooth move, with prompt, resourceful, polite and accommodating movers from beginning to end!

From booking the appointment to the final handshake after the move, everything was handled with the professionalism and polish that you would expect from this brand.

The gentleman I dealt with over the phone, Joe, was friendly and courteous. This was the first move I have ever paid for. He was very good at explaining the policies and conditions of the move and making it feel more like a conversation instead of just exposition. Everything was handled and tailored to my needs. For
instance, I could not start the move on the hour because I had to drop the kids to school in the morning, so they tailored this start time to suit my availability. Little things like that mean so much!

If the booking was any indication of how the move was going to go, it was going to be a great experience -- and it was! Once it came to moving day, I met with Don and his team. Everyone was very personable and went to great lengths to make sure I was comfortable. Again, the little things mean a big deal in a move. They were polite and any personal problems or attitudes that you would associate with movers (as is the stigma) were not present here at all. Not only was everything handled with all the care and empathy that you would want, but they worked great together as a team, and that is truly hard to find. Now I sit and think about it, they treated me like family and that was truly beyond my expectations!

No move is without its problems and challenges. Turns out the place I was moving to only had one elevator which the property owner was aggressively insisting to not put the elevator on service! This could have easily been used by the hired movers to increase the move time ergo increase their final pay. This was not the case
at all. Don professionally communicated with the property owner, came to an mutual agreement for how the rest of the move will be completed and it was done in record time! They did not even take a break!

There is no way any other company would have handled these challenges with the professionalism, care and teamwork that Two Small Men With Big Hearts did that day. I wanted to move again just to have that experience. They are highly recommended!

Moving is such a stressfull time, however the team from Two Small Men with Big Hearts made our moving day stressfull free. I would reccomend them to anyone, and have done so since our move.
