Tan Heating & Cooling Inc - Out of Business

This used to be a good company that did a great job with really good repair/cleaning maintenance guys. Then they became sub-contractors for a big company and stopped showing up for appointments. For the last two years I have to wait 4 - 6 different days to get them to make it to an appointment - calling them over and over and yelling. I wouldn't recommend these guys to my enemies.

We booked Tan Heating for an annual service of our furnace before listing our house for sale this fall. After not showing up for the appt booked from 9am-12 until 6pm, they then said it was too much work to complete that evening. They were supposed to return the next day but never showed up and never returned any calls. We were forced to go ahead with our pre-listing inspection where, big surprise, the inspector noted that the furnace was dirty and in need of service, making it an "issue" on our inspection. Tan not only inconvienced us when we were already very busy and stressed with our sale, but they potentially cost us money. They never even had the decency to return any phone calls. We've tried phoning them several times over the last month but haven't been able to speak to any humans. I would strongly recommend to call another company, ANY OTHER COMPANY, to take care of your furnace, especially if you are on any type of timeline.
