Price was reasonable, they didn't push or upsell, but were thorough and honest. My house is very old and needed extra repairs. They didn't cover over it, they took extra time to make sure I had it done properly. They made it a pleasant experience (as much as getting a new roof can be). They did what they said.

After researching for over a year I finally decided to have Smart Roofing replace my roof. I must say that my trust was well placed as I now have a beautiful, professionally done roof. I also had the eavestroughs around my garage replaced and I have never seen a crew, led by Wes, work so fast, so thoroughly and so professionally. It was a great experience. I will definitely recommend Smart Roofing to anyone looking for a great roofing company. Thanks again Jerry.

Cost from Smart Roofing is a bit more than the competition. The crew was fast, professional and did a great job cleaning up. Knowing we had two little children, they paid extra attention in cleaning up and sweeping for loose nails. Both Bob and Jerry were very friendly and personable and took the time to answer our questions. They were recommended by several friends and we weren't disappointed. If you are looking for a dependable, quality company, Smart roofing is a great choice. Great work on gutter replacement too!

If you are looking for a roofing contractor, just save yourself time and meet with Smart Roofing. They are an outstanding roofing contractor from start to finish. The sales rep was helpful in determining the job specifics as well as very informative about roofing work in general. The work crew was terrific. They were punctual, well organized, very polite with family members, and the workmanship looks of high quality. We've recently seen several roofing installations on our street. Smart Roofing is by far the best.

The crew maintained focus and kept their attention to detail throughout the project. Some of the other roofers working in the area cut corners and sacrificed quality … not Smart. The price was competitive. Even though some other quotes were lower we did not have confidence in realizing the same level of workmanship as we would obtain with Smart. There was an exceptional clean up of debris by the crew after every day’s work and upon completion of the project. The materials and service were excellent. I would highly recommend Smart Roofing.

What a difference in the appearance of our house!! All the neighbours are commenting on how great it looks. I was shopping around for a roofer last fall when I ran across the Homestars site. I chose 3 roofers and asked for quotes. Smart Roofing's price was reasonable and competative, but there was something about Bob that I particularly liked, so we decided to give the business to him. He was professional, straightforward, seemed honest, answered all my questions - even the dumb ones, and had a good sense of humour. I got the feeling he appreciated quality so assumed his service and crew would reflect this. I was NOT disappointed. Andre and his roofing crew arrived on time, worked like crazy, did NOT cut corners and were friendly and polite. Very professional guys! The clean-up was amazing! Even my husband, who is VERY particular, was impressed. When the roof was complete, Wesley and his crew arrived to do the eaves troughing. Again,a nicer crew you could not find! Hard-working professional ... I'm running out of nice things to say about them. So the short story is - I would HIGHLY recommend Smart Roofing to anyone in need of this type of service. Eight stars out of five for Bob, Marius, Jerry, Andre and his crew, as well as Wesley and his crew. Excellent product. Excellent service.

I saw the then maybe 3 or 4 good reviews of Smart Roofing in this website last year. I called them and Bob, a genuinely nice guy, gave me the quote. I had to admit his was not the lowest but among those I approached, he did an excellent job answering my questions about having a turbine installed and giving recommendations. So Smart Roofing eventually replaced the shingles of my 18-year old house in late August 2007. The crew of three was very professional and friendly and the cleanup they did was exceptional - no nails or shingle parts anywhere. They even cleaned the gutters! Even the guy who delivered and picked up the trash bin took extra care not to ruin my freshly paved driveway. I told myself I'd wait until a few rainy days had passed before writing a review and then I totally forgot about it. Fall and winter passed and no leaks. And my house is a few degrees cooler now because of the turbine.

All I can say is they take care of their customers. I called them recently to ask for the name of a company they could recommend for fascia repairs and the lady on the phone, after she had determined that I was an old customer, gladly accomodated my request. It's good to know that there is always a number you can call and be looked after if something goes wrong with your roof.

We had Smart Roofing re-do the roof on our 19 year old house. Their price was not the lowest, but very competitive - we decided to go with them based on our impressions from our meeting with Mario, the sales rep, and also from the reviews on this site. They also offered a 10 year workmanship warranty, which many others did not. They were able to schedule the work quickly, they showed up when promised, and the work was done efficiently and with good attention to detail.

After getting quotes from 4 reputable roofing companies I called Smart roofing. We were very please from the start after meeting Gerry and receiving his quote. He gave us a great price and did everything he said that they would do. He visited us a week after job was completed to make sure we were happy with everything before he wanted payment on the balance. The roofing crew was great and paid extra attention with regards to any concerns we had. When the aluminum & eavestroughs were installed again we got exceptional work and service. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company to any one in the market for a new roof or aluminum & eavestroughs.
