Tempupedic waterproof protection melted

Sales associates come off really nice but only to make a sale and take your money, but when you have an issue, you will get no help. Bought the tempurpedic waterproof mattress protection both double and king. Was told by associate they all use them, never any problems with multiple washes/ drying. And they are guaranteed.First wash they melted and torn. Followed instructions on package, and were washed by themselves. Brought them back for refund, no refunds which they do not tell you. I didnt want replacements as these are expensive and have no trust. Was told to call customer service, no help, told to email with pictures, just
told to call tempupedic and deal with them. Even says mattress protection guaranteed for 12 years. If they fail on first wash, they will fail when a leak happens and ruin your mattress. Do you really think sleep country and tempurpedic will happily and easily replace your mattress? Not a chance.

Horrible customer service

I purchased a mattress and it paid $400. It was poor quality and so we called to return it. We could not return it for a full refund and so had to purchase a more expensive mattress. We were not told that there was a $65 charge for the exchange. I called the store (Yonge and Lawrence) and spoke to a super rude manager, who raised his voice and continued repeating himself despite me telling him I got the message.

My advise is to give another store your business.

No delivery delivery

My 80 year old parents were expecting a delivery for a mattress. The delivery guy was rude and didn't deliver the mattress. They live in an condo, you have to book an elevator, he showed up early then left, rudely, without delivery. He was very rude to them. Good delivery should be a part of the service. This company sucks.

King size Mattress purchase.

We purchased a Kingsdown Kibg size mattress. We dealt with Taj at the Eglinton and Glen Erin location Mississauga. He was very good to deal with. On delivery the mattress was damaged and a hole put in it because the delivery people were not paying attention. On the second delivery they managed to knock down a heavy wood statue breaking the head piece and damaging two stair steps. Totally incompetent not paying attention. They also came close to hitting the chandelier until I yelled at them to stop?? They told me I did not have to sign off on the delivery this time because it was a replacement? I later found out from customer service they claimed I refused to?? Totally untrue! They also did not report this and Im guessing tried to hide it which is why they didnt want to be to sign off and write down the damage. I left a message for Taj complaining about what happened and he never returned my call? I guess its all an act to sell you the mattress then the sales people dont care. I would never return to sleep country.

0 REVIEW IS STILL NOT ENOUGH

I would give them a 0!!!!! Do not buy anything from this company! Spent $10,000 on a mattress & base! Base arrived sliced, they were supposed to attach my headboard yet no bracket to attach & their delivery guy dropped a metal bar damaging my floor! Then arranged a time, didnt show then arrived with ANOTHER damaged base!! Customer service is useless in helping!

Unsturdy beds

I feel ripped off. My fiancee and I are starting our lives together, and we wanted to invest in a solid, comfortable bed. We believed Sleep Country to be reputable and of quality. You pay for what you get for, right?

We first bought the Bloom Lift adjustable base for 1200$ on the 11th of December, 2022. The salesman was jumping up and down on the bed frame in the store. Within a few short months, multiple legs bent and broke, severely scratching our floor. Sleep country sent us more legs, and those in turn broke as well. We were resigned to sleeping with our mattress on the floor because the bed frame was so severely compromised. After much haggling, they allowed us to exchange the bed frame (they would not allow a refund).

We upgraded, and paid more, for the Malouf Blackwell bed frame. We paid 180$ more, and we received the bed on the 11th of September 2023. Again, within a few short months we were experiencing unsteadiness with the bed. There is a sole support leg in the middle of the bed, which is only fastened with 1 screw. Whenever you sit, move, etc, the leg moves around and scratches the floor. Needless to say, this is uncomfortable.

I can't believe, after spending over a thousand dollars per bed frame, to AGAIN be having structural issues. I mean come on. Sleep Country, founded in 1994, have yet to decipher the complexities in creating beds which can support human beings! Neither myself, nor my girlfriend are overweight. And even if we were, their beds should be built with some forgiveness! Imagine if sleep country was in the bridge building industry. Yikes.

I've been in contact with sleep country regarding this second bed, and they have been far from helpful. They state the sale was final. I was not made aware of that at the time! The only notice I got of that was on the receipt, in fine print of course.

Utterly frustrated, I wanted to leave a review on the sleep country website for the Bloom Lift, as well as the Malouf Blackwell. There is no option to do so on the website. So I asked customer support for help. Again, no help. They closed the chat on me instead. Incredible.

There are only 2 reviews for the Malouf bed, both of which are 5/5 stars.

I applaud sleep country for this incredible bamboozle. 5/5 stars.

I will never purchase from sleep country again.

Terrible Warranty Coverage & Customer Care

I purchased my mattress from Sleep Country five years ago, investing over $1000, expecting durability and reliability. However, despite using a supportive box spring and bed frame, the body indentation has exceeded 1.5 inches deep, clearly meeting the criteria for warranty coverage. Yet, I was shocked to find out that even though the mattress's sinking surpassed the threshold, the warranty was voided due to minor staining. This rigid policy demonstrates a lack of consideration for customers who have invested significant amounts in their products. I would not recommend Sleep Country to anyone, given their unwillingness to stand behind their products and prioritize customer satisfaction.

First time bought and will never buy again

Bought mattress but sagged in a year though I had 5 years warranty. Warranty claimed for replacement. They asked me to charge$ if technician had to come inspect the mattress at home. They didnt send technician home. I sent them photos and they denied the warranty claim. Lesson for others
