When my furnace broke down I contacted many Durham companies; Geoff from Natural Choice Heating and Cooling was not only the first one to contact me (while three other companies took hours to respond) but was also able to give me a competitive price on a high efficiency furnace. He took his time to explain why this particular furnace could be a good choice for my needs. I was amazed to see the knowledgeable and courteous technicians to come to my house just a few hours later to install the furnace with a state of the art thermostat. They finished the installation just minutes before my out of town family arrived for Christmas. Natural Choice Heating & Cooling saved me from an overpriced competitor and made me feel good about my purchase. I highly recommend this company to anyone who shops around looking for a good quality product and an excellent service.

I initially obtained four quotes for the installation of a new furnace, air conditioner and gas water heater. The quote I received from Geoff at Natural Choice Heating and Cooling was competitive and I chose this company not only because of the numerous positive reviews on the Home Stars website but also because of this company’s knowledgeable and experienced staff. Geoff explained the work that had to be done in considerable detail and I found his recommendations and knowledge superior to others that I had interviewed. I had completed a considerable amount of research on various furnace models and I have to say that Geoff and Jim answered any questions and concerns that I had regarding various products without hesitation. I chose a Trane XV95 series furnace and a Trane XLi15 Air Conditioner for my bungalow. The furnace is whisper quiet. The month following the installation, I noted a $35.00 reduction in my electricity bill! The installers, Eric and Chris, did an impeccable job and I could not have asked for a more perfect, well organized, installation. They are extremely good workers. There were glitches along the road including an issue that required environmental remediation and Geoff obtained quotes and called in a contractor the same day. I cannot say enough positive things about this company. If I could give them a 10+ rating I would. The staff are honest, knowledgeable, experienced and hardworking. I highly recommend Natural Choice Heating and Cooling and assure you that you will not be disappointed.

I was impressed with this company right away. I saw their truck outside and emailed their website to have someone call and come in for an estimate. Geoff called right away and came when it was convenient for me. He was very helpful, answered all of my questions, and made recommendations based on his experience and knowledge. The quote was competitive and we chose this company for the service in our home. It got even better because the team that came to do the install were so amazing...very polite, considerate of my home and what we were doing here through out the day. They worked hard ALL DAY to get the job done. They also talked to me about what was happening throughout when I asked questions. The best part was that they were so professional, I could tell that they knew what they were doing and that they were good at it. All around this is THE best experience I have ever had with a company of this nature. I would recommend them to anyone.

I wanted our air conditioner moved to the side of our house in order to create some more room in the backyard for for my BBQ and smoker. James and his team were extremely friendly and courteous. They did great job of cleaning up after themselves and the job was done in no time. Will look to them for any of my A/C or heating needs in the future.

James, Geoff and the entire team were great and very professional, from initial contact to the completion of installation. The company sent out a crew member within a week as a follow up to check the equipment and recommend suggestions on thermostat settings. When I replace my A/C I will definitely have them on the top of my list.

Natural choice heating and cooling was brought in to do emergency repairs at my office. I was so impressed with their level of expertise, professionalism and workmanship that I have since hired them to do work in my home and cottage as well as my daughter’s renovation project. They have tackled both large and small, commercial and residential projects for me and I could not be more pleased with their work ethic or their outstanding customer service. James and his staff listened to what I wanted, explained the options and the process to me clearly and were always happy to answer any and all of my questions, before, during and AFTER completion!

From the quote through to the installation, Geoff and his crew were pleasant, punctual, and professional. We never felt pressured. Overall we were very happy with the service we received.

On Friday November 29th one of the coldest days of the year so far and my moms furnace decides to "kick the bucket." So my mom 67, unsure of what to do or which company to call so she called me(trusty daughter lol) So I went up to her house to check things out(she had 2 portable heaters going in the house, candles burning and 2 sweaters on just to stay warm.)
She wasn't sure how old the furnace was but I knew it hadn't been replaced in many many years so I realized this may be the time to replace it. Now we are less then one month before Christmas and everyone is on a budget. I decided I would post something on Facebook and get some responses. A few friends recommended a range of people/companies but 2 good friends recommended your company- Natural Choice. Let me tell you, this company had someone out to my moms house on that Friday. They thoroughly checked out all working/non working parts checked it all out and gave us some options. In the end we decided to go with a new furnace. The following day they had a customer reschedule and so they called my mom right away and had a furnace put in the very next day first thing in the morning on a Saturday. I can not thank Natural Choice for "coming to the rescue" on such a cold day/night and being so efficient and open to giving us all options possible. They were very professional, caring and thorough with their inspection, diagnosis and realistic with options for my mom.
