Hamilton T & Son Roofing

This company is by far the most unprofessional and disorganized business I have ever dealt with. Once they take your money, you won't hear anything from anyone. I tried contacting the Owner and the Son on several occasions to express some concerns and heard absolutely nothing back. The work was shotty at best and I had several leaks quickly after their work was "complete".

I run a business myself in the trade industry and this lack of customer service and skill is deplorable.

When I tried speaking with the employees themselves, they said they weren't surprised by the lack of care or communication as they receive the same treatment. They mentioned being treated terribly, sent home without pay and no explanation, no communication, etc. Again, as a business owner if your employees are dissatisfied to this degree it will effect the workmanship.

This company and the ones who run it are full of excuses and insults and have 0 merit on business operations. Stay away if your looking for a job well done.

They are very good service provider I personally booked them for our home work. Really appreciate them and satisfied with them. good service provider and good technicians at very cheap rates.

These guys were amazing, efficient, and the office staff are great too. I had a lot of trouble finding someone to fix our roof after the storm last weekend and my friend saw them at work in her townhouse complex so we looked them up and they were able to get me in the next day (right before the next rain forecast). Work looks great. They don't show up first in any internet searches but they should.

They worked on Statutory holiday but not on a beautiful Saturday
Left garbage all over front lawn on a Friday night after wirking until 8:30.
They are careless, dropping flashing and wood from the roof at my back door without warning.
They shingled the complete roof, but removed the bathroom roof vent without replacing. They are reroofing a complete townhouse complex and removed without replacing 90% of bathroom roof vents.
As for the garbage the front yard, it included cutting blades for knives, lanyards, hooks for roof, water bottles, cigarette butts at front door, wood, shingles, new framing nails, pieces of metal and old roofing nails. The nails and blades were hidden beliw the grass. Normally I walk barefoot in the grass.
The crew was shutdown for a week. I think because they were working without safety equipment and were leaving the area unsafe for residents. Flashing was left hanging and fell beside s playground.

Would not recommend this company to anyone.Moved very fast to give their estimate and it was all downhill from there. No communication about when job would start or during work, shingles just arrived on driveway. After calling them was told they'd be starting job next day (thursday) the work actually began the following monday and took almost 4 days instead of the promised 2. Clean up was terrible our eavestroughs were badly blocked causing a flood in our laundry room.Had to have chimney recalked twice after job was supposedly finished.Poor communication, average job. Avoid!

I'm editing this review 5 years later. Began a bedroom renovation and to my horror when modular furniture was removed found mould on 2 external walls. They were crumbling and I could see water in there. Called another roofing company who informed me that one leak was coming from the hip on the roof where the shingles were not wrapped and had no underlayment. All hip shingles need to be replaced. An attic vent in the area was installed incorrectly and is leaking. Out of a total of 8 attic vents 3 should have been exhaust vents and need to replaced. The other 5 have to be reinstalled properly to prevent leakage.

I am furious - the bedroom project is on hold and we now need new drywall. Luckily the bedroom contractors are being great about the hold up as is the guy making the custom furniture. But I now face a bill of $2000 for the repair. Shame on you T Hamilton, your work ethic is disgraceful. If this review stops anyone from using your company I will be a happy woman.

Excellent to deal with. They came quickly to provide a quote, they called before they began the work, they finished the work on time with no surprises. They were clean and courteous and overall it was a great company to deal with.
