They worked on Statutory holiday but not on a beautiful Saturday
Left garbage all over front lawn on a Friday night after wirking until 8:30.
They are careless, dropping flashing and wood from the roof at my back door without warning.
They shingled the complete roof, but removed the bathroom roof vent without replacing. They are reroofing a complete townhouse complex and removed without replacing 90% of bathroom roof vents.
As for the garbage the front yard, it included cutting blades for knives, lanyards, hooks for roof, water bottles, cigarette butts at front door, wood, shingles, new framing nails, pieces of metal and old roofing nails. The nails and blades were hidden beliw the grass. Normally I walk barefoot in the grass.
The crew was shutdown for a week. I think because they were working without safety equipment and were leaving the area unsafe for residents. Flashing was left hanging and fell beside s playground.

I would like to take this opportunity to reply to your complaint.
The very first thing that sticks out to us is that you chose Homestars without reading there introduction. It says in the intro and I quote-[ Reviews must be based on a financial transaction between a homeowner and a company] You live in Halton Hills Co-Op that is run by the city and you rent a unit in this subsidized complex. You do not have anything at all to do with the tender process or choosing the Roof Consultant or the Roofer. You are not paying us or the consultant, the town is paying everyone at works on this site. Your comments are mostly fictional except for us working on the Stat Holiday as we were making up for the lost time. It had rained most of the previous week....Your statement about being shut down for a week because of safety issues is completely fictional because you have no proof in fact we left the site because of the weather. Complaining without the truth or straight facts would be like me saying you were drunk when you wrote this because of simple words spelled incorrectly. Please direct any concerns you may have with the property manager who in fact is pleased with our work and progress thus far. Also is happy with our cleanup. We have cleaned up all of the DOG STUFF that hasint been picked up since last year. Along with a pile of old needles and Beer cans. If you are brave enough to walk barefoot in this grass, BE CAREFUL you arent stepping on Used Needles and Dog Stuff. We are not cleaning it up anymore. Furthermore Homestars should remove your comment as you DO NOT qualify as a home owner. T. Hamilton + Son has been in business for 40 years now and has completed over 40,000 homes in that time. Having 3 complaints now only 2 that count is not perfect but is real close!Enjoy the rest of your day
