Cancelled my order 4 times

h, Dyson, where do I even begin with this debacle? Let me share with you the unfortunate tale of my online purchase that turned into a nightmare of cancelled orders and pending charges. Brace yourself for the frustration.

Imagine my excitement when I decided to purchase a Dyson vacuum online. I navigated their website, filled my virtual cart, and eagerly awaited its arrival. Little did I know that my enthusiasm would soon be crushed, repeatedly, like a bug underfoot.

Not once, not twice, but four times my order was cancelled. Can you believe it? Four times! Each cancellation left me bewildered, searching for answers. But all I received were empty apologies and a helpless shrug from Dyson's customer service. They offered no explanations, no solutionsjust a cold, hard truth: there was nothing they could do.

Meanwhile, my bank account suffered the consequences. Over $4500 remained trapped in a purgatory of pending charges. The vacuum I so eagerly desired seemed to slip further away with each failed attempt.

In a feeble attempt at restitution, Dyson had the audacity to suggest that I purchase the vacuum elsewhere, albeit without the promised 15% online discount. How generous of them! As if I hadn't already wasted hours of my precious time and endured endless frustration.

It's as if Dyson thinks customer satisfaction is an outdated concept. They seem content with dashing hopes and leaving loyal customers high and dry. The 15% discount, once a tantalizing incentive, became a cruel miragea promise just out of reach.

This entire experience has been a lesson in resilience and restraint. I've learned to temper my expectations and to approach online purchases with caution. Dyson, on the other hand, has shown a remarkable talent for alienating customers and tarnishing their own reputation.

So, my friends, be warned. Should you venture into the realm of Dyson's online shopping, tread carefully. Learn from my ordeal and steel yourself for disappointment. As for me, I bid farewell to Dyson and search for a company that values its customers and stands behind its promises. May you have better luck, my fellow consumers.

$1000 air purifier

If you have a problem with your machine, you will gi around in circles with their support team and get nowhere. Im almost at the poinof throwing out my machine. If you purchaone l pray it has no problems, could be great product if their support team would actually do somthing about it and not telling me to do a clean cycle every email. Im smart enough to try this first!

Customer Service is HORRIBLE

DO NOT BUY!!! It does not work. Customer Service is HORRIBLE . My children split their money to buy a Corrale hair iron directly from Dayson on December 9, 2022 to give as a Christmas present for their mother, on December 26 we notice that the hair iron does not work it turns on and goes off immediately, I contacted Dayson customer service immediately to report the problem, they told me to return the iron, they were going to send me a new one, I made a small point with a pen on the iron and I send it on December 27 two weeks later I supposedly receive another new hair iron ... FALSE it was the same hair iron with the pencil point that I had done and still with the same problem still that did not work Dayson has done nothing to fix the iron, after calling Dayson customer service again to explain the problem they tell me they are sorry it was probably a mistake so that I send the iron again and they will send me another 19 days after i receive the iron another color different from the one we had chosen my wife tries the iron and its does not straighten the hair we look at the iron and the pads do not touch there is a space between the pads the rubber around the plates came out again we contact Dayson customer service and I say the problem and that I no longer want their hair iron that I want a refund, Dayson replies by message that they cannot refund me and can no longer change my iron because the 30- day exchange and refund guarantee has expired they offer me a repair and can give me a $25 for the inconvenience (Really a Shame on Dayson) with the two returns Dayson took 34 days to return the product to me, I currently have a product at home that is of no use to the money wasted on Dayson. I sent a 10-day Consumer Protection Agency to Dayson who never replied to me. I am currently waiting to see a lawyer and I am trying to get in touch with a TV show here in Quebec so that the people learn more about this company which gives a very bad product and service.

Don't order from online store if you want it on time.

Do not order if you are under time constraints of any kind. Ordered item and paid extra for two day shipping. This allowed for several buffer days (needed it Friday). Ordered it on a Saturday so that it would be shipped Monday. To my surprise the label was printed on Tuesday night with a Saturday arrival date. For such an expensive item, unacceptable. I could have just taken the two hour round trip to go get it in the city.

Dyson cordless vacum

I have a v10 purchased in 2018. Not happy with my cordless vac.not quite 4 yrs old and has been nothing but trouble. Began to pulsate so a new motor was sent.severe plugging up and I have to clean it out every time its used. Power switch does not work. Suction is terrible as it picks up junk then drops it. Any ideas

Do not trust Dyson

Dyson has no integrity. I purchased 2day delivery for online order (>$800) and instead of that, it is 8 days, no opportunity to cancel even tho they acknowledge their utter failure.

Dyson Air Purifier / Fan

I purchased a Dyson air purifier / fan unit - the best they had in 2019.

The box was sealed and the item appeared new. After owning it for 2 years - I attempted to have it serviced when it developed a wobbling sound whenever on rotation.

Upon contacting their "customer support" I was advised my unit was pre owned and already regsitered (news to me!).

I was given the run around and after about 10 emails and providing the proof of purchase provided to me by the vendor - they have declined to assist me with my unit.

I own 3 Dyson vaccums, 2 Dyson fans and the other fan that I was trying to get serviced.

Once these items break down they will be replaced by another brand. Terrible customer service.

DO NOT BUY DYSON!

I bought a vacuum cleaner from them. In less then 1 year the battery stopped working. I called customer service and they made me pay $44 to buy a new battery. The only reason why I bought Dyson was because of it's quality product. I guess I was wrong. Never going with this company again.

Dyson vacuum cleaner is a waste of money!

the motor down broke from my Dyson( it was a present 4 years ago) never even got a response to the e-mail - to order a new motor!

Also it never picked up dog hair - like my 60.- dollars dirt devil does perfect!
after waiting for 4 months - the whole set will go in the garbage!

Worst vacuum cleaner ever

I purchased Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 through Dyson website in December 2017. I did not use it in the first 30 days. Then, I tried using it on floors and carpets with brush roll on and off. The base suction was very weak. All it kept on doing was pushing the dirt around. When cleaning carpets, the brush roll stopped spinning after 5-10 seconds. I had to press the brush roll start button repeatedly to keep the brush working. After using it for 4-5 times, I contacted Dyson Customer Service via email to report the issues. I was told that the product could not be returned after 30 days of use. Their response time was slow. Each and every time I had to deal with a brand new person who asked me the same questions over and over again. I asked to have one representative to be assigned to my case, but next time around I dealt with 3-4 new representatives. I followed all troubleshooting guidelines recommended by Dyson representatives. After communicating with multiple and inconsistent Dyson Customer Service representatives via email, the issues were still not resolved. I sent the product to the nearest Dyson repair centre, as directed by Dyson Customer Service representative. It took around 7 days for them to send it back to me. I took it out of the box and tried using it. The issues were still not resolved. I called Dyson Customer Service to find out about the repair work completed at the repair centre. Dyson Customer Service representative failed to provide full information on the work completed. I asked to speak with a supervisor to file a complaint, but was told that the supervisor was in the meeting. I asked for the supervisor to contact me immediately. Dyson Customer Service representative stated that a supervisor will call me in 24-48 hours. It has been more than 48 hours now. I have not heard back from the supervisor. My Hoover vacuum, which I purchased 11 years ago, outperformed Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 vacuum big time. I never had to worry about my Hoover vacuum not cleaning as advertised nor did I have to contact their Customer Service for anything. I am frustrated and disappointed in Dyson product. I trusted the Dyson brand and spent $500 on a faulty vacuum that cannot clean as advertised. Shame on you, Dyson.Buyers, do not fall in the same trap. Dyson seems to invest a lot in its misleading advertising and not in its products and support.
