Brutal Customer Service

Price
Reviewed Jan. 21, 2024

I have used Dyson for 6 years. I reached out in May and then in Oct with a stick vacuum still under warranty. To summarize, they sent me parts that did not fix the issue, they asked me to send my faulty vacuum , so they could send me a refurbished one. I sent mine Nov 26, have reached out 6 times on chats and have not received one back . Brutal experience. Please note if this is rectified I will take this review down, BUT know they do not VALUE their customers. The most disappointing consumer experience ever. They charge a premium, and do not stand behind their word.

Poor Customer Service

Subject: Extremely Disappointed with Dyson Canada's Service

I recently purchased a Dyson vacuum for over $1400, hoping for a high-quality product and top-notch customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been anything but satisfactory.

The vacuum, which I returned due to performance issuesspecifically, water leaking on the floor when using the submarine mop headhas turned into a nightmare. Dyson claims they never received the return at their warehouse, rendering me ineligible for a refund. This is despite providing evidence, including a DoorBird camera picture showing the item being picked up from my doorstep.

For the past three months, I've been caught in a frustrating cycle of calls with Dyson's customer service, each lasting over 2 or 3 hours. Their responses have consistently been, "We got your return; it's in the inspection process. Once completed, we'll proceed with your refund." Now, they conveniently state that they didn't receive my return, contradicting the evidence I've provided.

This level of poor customer service is unacceptable for a company of Dyson's stature. I feel utterly disappointed and frustrated with the lack of resolution despite my efforts and cooperation. The way they've treated a customer who spent a significant amount is beyond disheartening.

I want to caution potential customers to be vigilant when dealing with Dyson. Keep extensive proof of your orders and returnsconsider video recordings during the handover to Dyson courier services, noting the pickup person's name and requesting photo identification. My intention is to share this honest feedback to spare others from encountering similar problems in the future.

In summary, my experience with Dyson Canada has been a regrettable waste of $1400, and I sincerely hope others don't have to go through the same ordeal.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES EVER

Dyson customer services is worst one. My v12 vacuum stopped to work 3 months ago. I have reached them but nothing happened. It broke down in only 9 months. My machine has warranty. They always come up with something. Ome time they say there ia a technical glitch, the other time they can't reach my information. They even said that we will send you a new machine in 3-5 days but it had been 1 month. I WON'T BUY DYSON PRODUCT EVER AGAIN.

Worst Customer Service Ever

I exchanged a $1500 stick vacuum for a $1300 stick vacuum because it was too heavy and giving me tendonitis. The exchange process was painful. I have been trying to get a refund for the difference for four months without success. I have spent hours on hold, literally. Every time someone tells me the credit will appear on my card within 48 hours. It never does. I will never buy from them again and I was a very loyal customer - three vacuums, many hair tools and two fans/purifiers. So long Dyson!!

Exchange of defective Dyson airwrap

Same feedback as others below. Dyson is highly unreliable, and their agents, while pleasant, do not follow up as promised. I bought and returned a defective Dyson airwrap. I agreed to an exchange. I returned the unit using a Dyson account Purolator label. I called (one hour wait) to confirm shipping since I didn't receive a shipping confirmation. I also emailed (no response) and did the chat 3 times - all agents promising that I would get the shipping notification shortly. I did not receive the shipping notification, and was later told that they didn't receive the unit. They then found the unit one week later, and advised that I'd have to wait another 14 business days (or 30 days - both timelines claimed) to be able to cancel the order, if I didn't get a shipping notification. Brutal customer service for such a large company. Would never buy from Dyson online again.

Another 0 star review

I had issues with the delivery of a vacuum I purchased and a missing part. When I contacted the company about getting credit for 2 day shipping that I paid extra for, the response was a canned response of "someone will get back to you within 24 to 48 hours". That time passed and they didn't reach out to me and I didn't receive a credit. I attempted to post a review on their website, just stating the facts of my purchasing experience and giving them a 2 star review. They rejected my review my review stating it didn't meet "their standards". I have contacted them to ask them what I need to change in my review to post it, but haven't heard back. It appears they moderate what is posted on their site so they don't receive too many negative reviews. I would not recommend the company. I really thought they were better than this.

Worse and Unreliable company. Terrible customer service

If i can give them 0 star i will! I have a big problem With this unreliable company! I bought a Dyson supersonic hair dryer $549.99 before tax, the same week the price dropped to $$439.99 for the mother day. I called to the price match department and they make me send an email with the links and screen shoot (they waisted my time for around 2 hours) the Dyson representative said is all good and they going to refund those $110 between 7-10 business days, its been 2 months since that time and i have $0 back. Also I talked with the supervisor his name is timothy and he said he is going to call me back and make a solution of this, of course never happened at this point i dont trust on this people because they are unreliable!!
