House completely rewired, some plumbing and we had a 20'wall removed and opened our entire main floor. Everyone was extremely professional,on time,on budget and honest. Bill, Nick and the team were very accommodating with us as we had changes as the project went along. We were impressed with the whole look of the completed job and are looking forward to working with them again. We were on a very tight schedule and they managed to get it done. All permits in place and very happy with results. Our house was very dated looking and now has come into the 21st century.

I wanted to enclose my front porch and add a powder room and closet. The first designer I hired charged me over $5,000 (almost twice what we originally agreed to), then withdrew the engineering stamp from the plans so I was unable to get a permit. I consulted a number of other companies at this point, feeling very cautious. Luara, from Bravehart impressed me with her original ideas (suggesting a porch on the top part off my study)and worked quickly and efficiently to complete a second set of plans, for a very reasonable price. When we ran into delays with the building permit, Bill even attended the committee of adjustment hearing in case there were questions I could not answer. I am very pleased so far with their help and professionalism.

Now, if we could only get the city to be as prompt and professional. Can we rate the building permit office?

Bill and Laura recently completed a full master bathroom renovation for us, in which the existing bathroom was gutted and replaced with the bathroom of our dreams. Bill and his team were wonderful to work with, consistently providing service above and beyond our expectations. This is our first house , and with a baby on the way, staying on budget was of primary concern. Bill and Laura showed great respect for our cost concerns and worked with us to stay on budget – and ON TIME. What we appreciated most about our Bravehart experience was our complete trust in their work, made possible due to the integrity and professionalism with which they operate, and how they approach every task. WE wanted to updated our kitchen which had been done over by the previous owner in the 80's. We wanted something with higher end finishes. We expressed our desires and needs to Laura and she came back with an excellent design that captured all of our needs. Bill was very knowledgeable and answered our questions and allayed all of our concerns. The Bravehart team was courteous, respectful of our special needs as we have a baby in the house and did the upmost to maintain a clean and safe environment. Although there were some issues during our renovations that may have held us up for weeks, Bill and Laura worked quickly and efficiently to find alternative solutions. We have our dream kitchen now and love spending time in it with our son. The folks at Bravehart were always available and helped allieviate some of the stresses that go with a live-in renovation. We have no regrets picking Bravehart Building as our contractor and know if anyone who reads this choses them, they will not have any regrets either.

I called Bravehart Building when my contractor let me down and left me with some shoddy work that actually caused harm to clients on more than one occasion. I have found Bill Wallace to be very trustworthy, conscientious and thorough. His team are effective and quick. Bill is on site everyday to check the work and help with problem solving. Bill and Laura of Bravehart have provided excellent support and service to us as we updated our older home. They stuck to a very tight schedule and overall the result was fantastic. We have decided to use them again to construct an addition to our house and so far the work has been exemplary. We hired Bravehart in 2009 to dig down, underpin and finish the basement of our semi-detached home. We met with several other contractors and Bill gave us a competitive quote and the most confidence that the job would be completed professionally and on time, so we chose Bravehart. We had had some negative experiences in the past with contractors and also had a 10 month-old baby, so we had some concerns about what the renovation process would be like.

Bill and the Bravehart team did a great job. They gave us a specific timeline for the work that met our requirements and the job was completed very close to schedule (there was some additional foundation work that needed to be done and this could only be discovered once the foundation was exposed). Workers were on the job everyday and were professional, courteous and hard working. Bill was onsite everyday and managed the entire project.

As a new mom, I was concerned about construction dust around our son, and Bill and the team did try to reduce the amount of dust in other areas of the house.

The quality of the basement finishing is excellent – they laid hardwood, painted, installed pot lights, built a laundry room, and furnace closet and installed new windows and stairs. It looks beautiful now. We love our new basement!

I would definitely use Bravehart again and recommend them without hesitation.

We worked with Bravehart for some design advice as well as plans, permits and construction on our basement underpinning and renovation project. The final result is a beautiful new playroom, grandparent's bedroom, bathroom, laundry area and furnace room. From the first time we met Bill Wallace of (the contractor behind Bravehart) we could tell he was an upfront, logical type of person. He handled all aspects of basement underpinning planning and permits, including working through a difficult neighbour situation at permit stage. Bill was also able to immediately address issues with unsafe materials left behind in our basement by previous owners. He drove samples to the lab himself to get 24 hour analysis service. His men were courteous and tidy. We really appreciated that all the trades who came to our house were real professionals. One of the advantages of going with a company like Bravehart is that they have established relationships with all the necessary trades for a big job like a basement underpinning and renovation. They know the right people to work with.

The basement is now completely warm, dry, and new, and everything works just right.

We worked with Bravehart to redesign and renovate the entire third floor of our home.
While we spoke to many contractors about the project in advance, only Bravehart came to us with a very unique design for our space.
They listened to our ideas and interpreted our style preferences. Then they presented a fantastic concept- a giant glass box bathroom in the center of the third floor, floating in the space, making the space seem larger and cleaner.
Laura also repositioned the bedroom to increase storage, yet made the overall space look larger. Her attention to detail, even down to the lighting plan and mood, is really noticeable and much appreciated.
We are so happy with their work that we are immediately hiring them to undertake the redesign of our second floor!

Bravehart really delivered a quick pace, courteous service and great workmanship on our recent home renovation.
Bill was on the site everyday and even stayed late or came early to have meetings regarding progress.
The team worked a number of Saturdays to ensure the project came in on schedule, and delivered on time, despite the fact that we changed our mind on paint colours and required a few days to select new colours and have the space repainted.
