I had 2 other companies give me a quote for Furnace and AC before I called Chris. Both of these salesmen were eager to sell me very expensive high end models (and also a larger AC than what we needed) and wanted to dazzle me with graphs and brochures. We called Chris because we were pleased with the work they had done a few years ago when we purchased a tankless hot water heater. Chris listened to our needs, assessed the requirements of the house, and gave us a straightforward recommendation and quote with no pressure to purchase. On the day of the job, the 2 gentlemen were very professional and did a very good job removing the old units and installing the new. They showed me what they did on the exterior of the house, and made sure I was comfortable setting up the new wifi controlled system. It has been a few weeks, and I'm happy to say both the furnace and AC work great and our home is very comfortable! Also, instead of trying to sell us $3K air exchanger like the other 2 companies, Chris sent a repairman to diagnose the problem with the old one (which turns out it needs a new motor). I have already recommended Convertible to my neighbours. I felt like we were dealing with friends trying to help us with a problem rather than someone looking to take advantage of us.

We contacted Crystaller when we had difficulty getting service from another company that we used to use. It was refreshing that Steve responded immediately to my text and got back to us with a reasonable quote within the same day. Once we gave them the go ahead, the operations manager notified us of timing. John did a fantastic job with the power washing. He was even able to get the discolouration out where there was some green moss (?) in the shady corner of our patio. The next day Steve came to seal the patio and it looked brand new when he was done. He took extra care around the edges to make sure that our pool coping stones did not get any sealant on it. He even left us some product for the small area that had the umbrella base which we could not move out of the way. A few days later he came back and checked the patio and walkways to make sure everything looked great. I also appreciated the detailed responses to all my questions about sealing, and even providing me with a product fact sheet. This approach earned our trust and we felt confident they do things the right way and have nothing to hide. I will recommend Crystaller to family and friends, great job and customer service!

Ecowoods was recommended to us by our contractor replacing our pickets and posts for the stairs. We had a few other quotes to refinish our stairs, but none of them wanted to sand and stain the stringers and risers to match the stairs. All the others wanted to take the easy way out and just paint the risers and stringers white or dark, and not match the stain on the stairs which is what we wanted. We are very pleased with the work that Fracisco and his crew did for us. Due to other work being done in the house, we had to ask him to come twice (1 month apart), and coordinate with our other contractors. He got everything done as promised and as scheduled, and was very professional and pleasant to deal with. Even my picky husband was impressed with his work. I also appreciated the effort he made to contain the dust and odour. Thank you Francisco! We get so many compliments from our friends who walk into the house. We were impressed with the reviews he had and contacted Leo to give us a quote for new posts and pickets for our staircase. He arrived on time for the quote and gave us recommendations and a price. He was very professional and friendly to deal with. We got a few quotes, but felt that Leo was the most capable of dealing with some complex changes we were making with the railings. We needed Leo to break down the job into 2 portions to accommodate some other work that was being done by another contractor upstairs. He had no issues coming for 2 days even though it was over the holidays, and got the work done as promised. This was greatly appreciated as our other renovations could continue on schedule. He came back for the second portion of the job as scheduled, and completed the work as promised. The posts he built and the pickets installed are gorgeous and we get compliments from everyone walking into our home. He even helped us fix an ugly gap between the nosing and hardwood floors at the top of the stairs that our contractor had made by accident. Thank you Leo for the filler wood you made for us! Leo took care in keeping the dust contained to the work area, and cleaned up daily so that our family life would be less disrupted. I would also add that my husband is extremely picky, but it was refreshing that with Leo, I did not have to hear all the usual complaints he usually has with the work done. I would not hesitate to recommend Gmano Railings to anyone looking to upgrade their staircase!

I first called Pestend at the end of the summer when we came back from vacation to find that mice had chewed through the caulking around the air exchanger vent and had entered the furnace room. Pestend scheduled Moe to come out the very next day. He examined the perimeter and he assured us there were no other entry points, recommended to reseal the caulking and also replace the dryer vent which was getting old. He also placed bate around the house. After that day, we did not see any traces of mice and were very happy and felt reassured that there was a 1 year warranty for their services. The reason I'm taking the time to write a review today is because of their exceptional customer service on a follow up call. After not seeing any mice for over 2 months, I unexpectedly saw one again in the furnace room yesterday. I called Pestend, and Moe came to my rescue again the very next day. He examined the perimeter and found they had chewed a NEW entry point around the pool heater pipes which leads into the furnace room. He also topped up the bate around the furnace room and kitchen, and even took care of the dead mouse in the trap, all in a pleasant & professional manner. I also appreciated that he called 1/2hr before arriving so I knew exactly when to expect him. I would recommend Pestend to anyone looking to get rid of pests, you will sleep well knowing the problem is dealt with properly and that they stand behind their warranty!
