We got quotes from 3 of the top companies. Got the best feeling from Optima. I think it was also the best price. The crew was friendly and polite. They listened and made a couple of good suggestions regarding re-framing. We're very pleased with the new window. But I'm still waiting for a requested quote for another window.
I needed a basement shower reno. Reza suggested redoing the floor and fixing the drywall on a wonky wall at the same time. I'm very glad he did, because now the whole room has a great facelift, for not too much more money. He takes great care in his work and is a good person to deal with.
I was looking for someone to replace the storm door to our deck which had got messed up over the years. Luca came by to quote but recommended replacing the whole door with a door with a built-in screen. This didnt feel like upselling, more like good advice. He kept in touch while the door was on order. Came when he said he would. The price seemed reasonable. The work seems very thorough and the new door, frame, and step are definitely an upgrade. I'm intending to use him again for new windows.

We had water damage in three separate areas of the house that made the plaster bubble out from the lath & plaster walls. Kevin did a very good job of repairing the specific areas with new plaster. He then repainted the entire staircase/landing area. Work was very satisfactory and we'd hire him again.
