We decided to hire Nutri-Lawn mainly because they were the lawn care providers of our neighbors and we were impressed by the results they achieved. We did contact several other companies, some we seriously considered, but overall it seemed that it would be the right move to work with Nuri-Lawn. So far we are very happy with our decision. We can’t express how happy we are with our decision to hire Otto’s Masonry to do the tuckpointing and rebuilding the walls of our deteriorating front porch. It is rare to receive such a high level of professionalism, craftsmanship and extremely pleasant staff that goes to extra mile to do a superb job! Once we bought our 1930 house we knew that one thing that would have to be taken care of is tuckpointing. Otto came back then and gave us a very reasonable quote, but unfortunately we ended up having to postpone it as there were other more pressing issues to take care of and no budget to cover it all. About two years later, and few incidents of rodents entering the house, tuckpointing became more of a priority. We called Otto again, and to our surprise Otto decided to adhere to the quote he gave us previously. A quote that was quite competitive compared to other quotes we received at the time. From the beginning everything was a positive experience… and if there were surprises they were only wonderful surprises. Eckhard did most of the job. We can’t say enough about Eckhard, he is truly amazing; he took lots of time to carefully match the mortar colour, and had to do it often as the mortar colour is really uneven in our house. There are multiple shades even in a single wall, and one really has to take great care to avoid a patchy look. On top of that he was extremely pleasant and improved the look of the house in ways we did not expect. It was all his initiative and his own standard of doing it the best it could be done! Eckhard was joined by his brother Ernie, and again we can’t say enough about how pleasant and professional they both are. After carefully working on all the walls Eckhard ended up spending a fair amount of time on rebuilding our front porch which was simply falling apart. He did a superb job basically working with the same materials but completely transforming it. Even though it involved more work then initially estimated Otto kept the price as quoted. In short we can’t be more pleased with this company. Every step of the way went smoothly and the results are beyond our expectations. We highly recommend Otto’s Masonry with absolutely no hesitation. We had a toilet that was plugging repeatedly. We consulted with several plumbers, but none really pinpointed the problem. We found Valentin through HomeStars and I have to admit that he deserves every compliment he got in the multiple reviews we read. We are very happy we choose him. Next time we need a plumber we know who to call! Valentine is highly professional, kind, reliable, punctual and a true problem solver, all for a very reasonable fee. We hired AN heating to replace our boiler and later on also to install an ductless AC. Andrew suggested the best products available that suited our needs and we were very happy with his recommendations. He is highly professional and straight forward. We were also very happy with Paul who did the installation alongside with Andrew. There were few issues following the installation but they were quickly addressed. Overall we are satisfied and highly recommend this company.

We hired Brock after contacting several companies. They came across as a reliable company and we favored the North Star windows. Overall we were please with their services. Especially we were happy with the installer Sokol who was very pleasant and did a great job. We will hire them again in the future and can recommend them with no hesitation.

This is the second time we are hiring MMT waterproofing. In the past he had waterproofed our west wall. We were very pleased to say the least and we had no doubt that we would hire mario again to waterproof a segment of our north wall. Indeed we were very happy with a work well-done second time round! With maximal effort above and beyond. We can't say enough in recommending this company. Mario is extremely professional, reliable, pleasant and trustworthy. One of the best professionals we encountered.

Had a bad experienced with another company, called Window 2000 to get a quote. Jamie was extremely accommodating and managed to squeeze us in the very same day so that we could have our windows cleaned before the long weekend. They did a great job on our old windows, which were not easy to open or disassemble and went above and beyond and cleaned additional windows that were improperly cleaned by the other company we hired with no extra cost. Jamie also gave us lots of advice as to how to replace our screens and even offered to help. All that in a very competitive price. We will definitely hire this company to clean our windows again as well as to clean our eavestroughs.

This company deserves a mark of 10 in the very least. Mario and MTT-waterproofing went above and beyond our expectations and were very communicative throughout the entire project. Mario and MTT-waterproofing team did an excellent job waterproofing the foundation of our 79-year-old house west wall. While giving us the free estimate Mario came across as very professional and knowledgeable. He was very helpful, answered all our questions with great detail and gave us a competitive quote. From the quote process to the intensive labor required, we found the staff at this company very pleasant and extremely professional in their work. The team of workers was diligent and tidy and took great care to preserve the stucco walls and Air condition unit of our neighbors, which required doing the work in three sequential sections. The work involved manually excavating around the west wall of the house, to gain access to the brick foundation wall. All cracks were carefully filled, the Block wall was parged before waterproof membrane could be applied. New weeping tiles were installed as well as a window well; the excavated area was back-filled and finally layered with gravel as per our request. Very labor-intensive work completed on schedule even finished a day or two faster than projected. Excellent problem solving of issues that came up from the work. Good attention to details throughout and enjoyably a dry basement ever since despite the heavy rain Toronto experienced recently. We are extremely satisfied with their service and the quality of their work. We considered several reputable companies and are very happy with our decision to hire Mario and his team. Excellent job done! We would definitely hire Mario again, should we need to waterproof additional walls. We highly recommend MTT waterproofing with no reservations!
