We went to Faulkner's looking for a washer and dryer. The person we spoke to in the store was very helpful. He was patient and answered all of our questions fully. He explained the features of the different models but there was no pressure to buy on the spot. In fact he told us to check out other prices online. We did that and found that Faulkner's offered the same or better price as other bigger stores. On the day of delivery (which was also very fast) the delivery men were not sure if the appliances would fit down our stairs. They took a lot of time to measure and determine if they would fit and if our old appliances could be removed. They went above and beyond to figure out how we could get the washer and dryer down the stairs (including removing door trim). They set everything up and ensured the appliances were level and ready to use. They also gave us helpful tips about use and maintenance. I would definitely purchase from Faulkner's again.

We had two chimenys removed and rebuilt by Straight Up Masonry. We felt that Tony and his team did a thorough job. For the estimate, Tony actually went on the roof to assess what work needed to be completed. The other companies we contacted for estimates only took pictures from the ground. This made us confident that he knew what work really needed to be done. The men who came to do the work were efficient and cleaned up all the mess upon completion. The chimneys look great and match our current brickwork as best as possible. The only problem was some miscommunication. After we had arranged to go ahead with the chimney rebuilds, we had asked for an estimate on some deteriorating bricks at the side of the house. We didn't hear back about this. However, after realizing that there had been a misunderstanding about this, Tony contacted us immediately to clarify and to arrange to give us a quote. It is clear that Tony and his company want to do the best possible job and ensure that his customers are happy. We would be confident in using Straight Up again for any brickwork needs.

We are very happy with the service provided by The Tub Guys. We shopped around and did get lower quotes; however, none of the other companys would remove the drain and/or taps when reglazing. The Tub Guys removed these parts and came back to reinstall them. We thought it was worth the extra money to have this type of attention to detail taken care of. All of the people we dealt with were friendly and answered our questions. If you are looking to have this work done, we suggest that you contact them as soon as possible. We had to wait about 2 months before there was an opening available. It is worth the wait though!
