EDIT: We have now passed 6 months. I've had about 5-6 more visits from various techs and I still do not have a working machine even though they have replace part after part after part. They just told me on the phone that they have "just opened a ticket with Whirlpool about the repair." SIX MONTHS LATER. They do not follow up, there has been one excuse after the other, they have replaced tons of parts and the machine still doesn't work. In fact it's probably worse than when they started. I'm not sure that they are honestly qualified to work on these machines if they are just NOW opening a ticket with Whirlpool support. You would think that they should have been in contact with them since the beginning ... I have a KitdchenAid under counter ice maker that keeps going into a clean cycle and locking up when it does. First visit the technician didn't really look at much and said that the main board needed to be replaced. The parts were ordered and they took 6 weeks or so to arrive. He came and installed the new board and told me that it was working perfectly and left. When I looked at the machine it was not working at all. It turns out there was a drain cap missing and according to the manual the unit will not run without it. I called back about it and told them. He apologized and said he would order a replacement cap. The cap was in there before his first visit and could not be found anywhere so not sure what happened to it in the first place. I was not happy that I was told it was fixed and working perfectly when it was obvious it was untested and in fact was not even possible to be working due to the missing cap. Strike 1. 6 weeks further down the road the cap comes in and the same technician came back. I asked him to please make sure that the unit was indeed fixed and working before he left and he agreed. We fired it up and he left to do another call and checked back a couple of hours later. It was making ice, but once the machine was put into a cleaning cycle (I requested that he test this as well) it would stick and never get back to making ice, in other words it had the exact same problem as it always did. This technician told me he didn't know what else to try and said he would ask other technicians to look at it. A couple weeks later a pair of other technicians came to look at it. Apparently these two did a lot of the fridge repairs and such. They spent a couple of hours ripping the machine apart (and finding "extra" screws and other parts that were left loose in the machine that were probably uninstalled by the previous technician). They could not find any issues, but they could reproduce the same issue that I had since day one. I suggested that maybe they should phone KitchenAid support as a previous company that attempted the fix did that and their phone technicians walked them through a few things to try. They said that they had to leave but they would phone that support and get back to me right away. Several more weeks pass with no response from Maydone. Then I get a call from someone following up asking me how the ice maker was working and to make sure I was happy with the repair, so it seems like they just closed out the repair without actually making anything work. I let them know that it still didn't work and the person on the phone was very surprised when I told them what had happened on the previous repair. None of this was noted in my records at all. I said that I was unhappy and at this point I would like to speak with a manager and get a refund since the repair as not completed correctly THREE TIMES IN A ROW and that I didn't have confidence that they were able to do the repair. The person on the phone told me she would get someone to contact me right away. 2 more weeks pass and I got a phone call this AM from the same phone person who said would pass it up to a manager. She asked a bunch more questions about the issues with the machine and was making notes on it this time (finally, I suspect that none of this ever went into their system). The only answers I got were "I will contact the technician and call you back" ... so here I sit an hour later and no callback. No working appliance, I've spent somewhere around $800. I started this process with them in June and right now it's mid October and I'm both out the full $$ for the "repair" and still don't have a working unit. I've asked several times now for a refund since the repairs were not done and this request has been met with "let me call the technician" or "I will pass this to a manager" each time but went no further. I'm fully expecting a call in a couple of weeks asking me how my unit is working and if I'm happy with the repair (again, for the third time). I can't express how disappointed I am, especially after reading all the great reviews here. So maybe this company is good with some stuff, but that has NOT been my experience.

Called them to come in and service our Ice Maker which had stuck in a cleaning cycle and wouldn't come back to making ice. They visited and called Kitchenaid tech support who told them immediately to replace the pump and sensor, that this was a common issue on this particular unit. Took about 6 months to get part (not their fault, covid supply chain stuff). They came back and installed the pump and sensor and after a few resets of something got the unit to make ice again. A few weeks later it notified to do a cleaning cycle. When I did it went right back to same issue. The last response we ever got from them was "we flagged the tech for followup" and then they ghosted us. I feel that we MASSIVELY overpaid for the service portion (to the tune of almost $400) and then left us hanging. Emails and even voice messages were never returned so we just wrote them off and gave up. Having to come to homestars now to find yet another repair company that will maybe actually complete the repair I thought it was time to share our experience with the users here. I find it very surprising to see they have won awards here ... because that was the exact opposite of our experience. EDIT: Editing the review to add info to prove I was indeed a customer: Invoice #471657. (is in my wife's name, and even that was spelled wrong).

They quoted and installed an outdoor electric vehicle charging setup for me at my home. The worked with my crazy schedule (the person who quoted came at 6:30 am) and the installer did a perfect job. The price was fair, the work was perfectly executed and the communication with them was excellent. They got the job done fast and on budget and left the site super clean. Can't ask for better than that and I would highly recommend them for any work in the future.

I purchased approximately 700 square feet of Ipe (Brazilian Walnut) hardwood from this company. The brand was St Lawrence Collections (which I later found out is affiliated with Brampton Flooring). The reason to purchase this specific wood is that I recently purchased a house and it has this exact hardwood throughout most of the house. I purchased enough to finish the 3 bedrooms that had not yet been done. This company is the exclusive supplier for this product (again I later found out it's because they are affiliated). My contractor, who I am super happy with, picked up the wood for us and brought it to our house. After waiting the few days for the wood to acclimate to the house conditions he started to install it, but after making the discovery that the finish was not properly adhered to the wood he stopped after only laying a few rows in one room and immediately reported this issue to me. We did a test with a coin on the end of one of the boards and the clear coat finish (which didn't match the previous wood of the exact same type and finish) was literally flaking right off of the wood. Just to make sure we randomly tested a few other boards from different boxes of the wood and they all showed the same issues. My contractor took a sample back to Brampton Hardwood as this was what was required when we looked on the St Lawerence Collections website for warranty issues -- they instruct the user to contact the supplier and have it escalated through them. After a week of hmming and hawing the sales person I deal with at Brampton Hardwood told me that they were actually affiliated with Brampton Hardwood -- that Brampton Hardwood actually bought this hardwood unfinished and then sent it to St Lawrence to have the finish applied and branded with their brand) and that the rep from St Lawrence would be in contact with me directly. Several more days have now gone by and even though I repeatedly call Brampton Hardwood I've not been able to get any resolution on this issue. I have approx 1000 lbs of hardwood sitting in the middle of a bedroom floor, it's too heavy for me to even move it, the store doesn't want to offer support, the manufacturer is outright avoiding the issue even though they claim a 35 year "wear" warranty (right now it wouldn't last 35 minutes let alone years) -- and I have professional movers with 3 truckloads of furniture showing up in the morning and nowhere to put it all. I highly advise avoiding this company if you want any kind of after-sales follow up or support. I've had to spend almost 2 full weeks chasing them on this issue and there's no apparent resolution in sight.

I've been a customer of this company for almost 20 years, renting a water heater from them. We recently purchased a new (to us) house and decided that we didn't want to rent a water heater any longer so called them to inform them of the move date. The current invoice (pricing included here) was for a pre-paid amount of time and covered a period longer than the time left in the house so their CSR advised me to not pay the current invoice but wait for the final pro-rated invoice that only covered the period we would actually be using the heater for. He seemed to take extensive notes and add all of this information to my file and I hung up thinking that things were resolved and I would just wait for the pro-rated invoice to pay the bill. Today I was left an automated voicemail from them threatening to send me to collections due to my delinquent account if I didn't contact them immediately. After almost an hour on the phone and speaking with 5 different people no one could resolve the issue and they all said that the previous rep gave me bad information about them sending a pro-rated invoice and that I should just pay the bill and "worry about the difference" later. They said all they can do right now is to say that I've made payment arrangements with them and that the automated system would stop calling me with the collection threats until the close date of the house. They also then informed me that they would only be sending out a pro-rated invoice after we had moved (but didn't want my new address) and 3 different CSRs tried to "estimate" what the bill might be and said I should "just pay us $40 now and we'll try and figure out the difference later." This is probably the single worst customer service experience I have ever had. I'm now being charged late fees (which they say they can't stop, but they backed out the ones already on the account) and that I should "just pay the bill and they will credit me the difference at the new house" -- even though I told them multiple times that I'm closing the account -- which also should be right there on my customer account records but apparently was not. The one woman would not even let me finish a sentence before cutting me off each time so I couldn't even actually explain the situation. Think long and hard before you get involved with this company if you value your time. After following their advice and then in turn getting threatening voice mails about being taken to collections for a "seriously delinquent account" the lesson that I've learned here is that one department here doesn't know what the other ones are doing, and no one could handle what I thought would be a simple customer issue. I've now paid the bill in full and will never deal with them again (and likely never see the remainder of the pre-paid amount of money because they don't even have my new address).

Francisco did a great job for us. It was a very last minute sort of thing and we had a super tight timeline to hit for our house sale. He was recommended by another contractor who was re-treading and redoing the pickets for our stairs. Francisco hit it out of the park, matching our hardwood flooring perfectly and even coming first thing one Sunday AM to make sure we got the job done on target. Couldn't have asked for better.

Mike came to our house to do the initial quote. They were not super inexpensive (meaning they don't use builder quality windows) and they were not the most expensive we got quotes for, but they were very straight up with us. We visited their showroom and picked all of our options. They showed up right when they said they would, did the install perfectly and we've been very happy with the results. It's been several years since this install and everything is still picture perfect. Couldn't be happier.

Leo knocked it out of the park for us. We had a very tight timeline where we needed the work done and he met the timeline without issue. Shows up exactly when he is supposed to, always leaves the site clean and takes pride in his work (I wish more contractors did). Communication is excellent. He capped and redid the nosings for our staircase in Oak and it looks fabulous (as you can see in the pictures). He also replaced all of our aging wood spindles with much more modern iron wrought ones. Leo is an artist, don't hesitate to get him working on your projects.

They handled this semi-complicated move perfectly. We had different items going to both the garage (for staging our house for sale) and other items going to a storage locker. It was a pleasure working with them. Fantastic communication, showed up exactly on time and did exactly what they promised to do. Will use them again when our final move comes.

Great service. They showed up on time both for the quote and for the actual installation, the doors were exactly what we were expecting and they installed doors very well, exactly as quoted. They were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them again to anyone. I couldn't be happier with the end result.

Had arranged to have my driveway torn out and repaved with this company. After a handful of phone calls we arranged a date for tear out and repave (back dated from when my house will be listed for sale). It took four tries for them to actually show up to tear out the old asphalt. It took another 3 tries for them to actually show up to install the new asphalt and because of their delays we had to push back other renos that were waiting on this to be finished. The end result was ok but I can't honestly recommend them to anyone if you are in a hurry. The supervisor who I was speaking with during the installation told me that he had customers who had been waiting 4 months for their install and that I was lucky because it happened so quickly.

Anyone who has dealt with Wilson Paving knows that we provide fast service. We don't let anyone wait 'four months' - this is misleading.

Frank was a joy to deal with and Shaun (the installer) hit it out of the park. I am incredibly happy with the work and would recommend them in a heartbeat. After getting quotes from several others before proceeding with Techno I can say they are a cut above anyone else I dealt with.
