This is the third time I have used so clean. They arrived on time, did an excellent job on our carpets and even cleaned our front entrance hall Matt at no cost. They left us with plastic boots and a big bottle of spot cleaner complementary. The young lads were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. What a pleasure to work with this company. A family of raccoons ripped off some soffit and took up residence in our attic on the first floor. It was horrific. Shakeel rushed out and installed two one-way doors and within 48 hours the family had evacuated. He then returned, repaired the soffit, remove the doors and raccoon proof parts of the roof. What a pleasure to work with this outstanding organization. Response time is superb, quality of work is outstanding. Did I mention we also had an infestation of yellow jackets which were promptly dealt with in a fast and efficient manner. I highly recommend this company and have used them twice over. Once in my main residence previously and once in a rental property we are nearby. Super nice and always positive and upbeat.

We recently wanted to swap out a mattress we purchased under a NO RETURNS POLICY. One of the customer service staff - Alexandra Kukovica - went "above and beyond” the call of duty to assist us with this issue. Not only is she a delightful and kind individual, but professional and diligent. She followed up promptly with us and came through in a time of great need as my wife is undergoing chemotherapy for a cancer treatment. We decided to replace our crummy old metal shed and sought a "full service" company to remove, build & install the new shed. We looked on HOMESTARS and were impressed with the great reviews of The Shed Installer Guys. After speaking to the owner Mathew, I went online and placed an order. "Install Day" arrived and a team of 4 delightful, hard working and professional young men arrived. In short order they removed the old shed, build a magnificent wooden foundation in the same site and started to assemble the new and much larger and more luxurious shed. We selected a LIFETIME Model 60334. After several hours of hard work - the shed was ready! The team leader gave me a "tour" of the new shed. He pointed out certain features and displayed a great deal of pride in the work of his team. I have seldom encountered a more dedicated, articulate and professional group of tradespeople. The entire experience was truly a delight. We have TONS of space and the shed is handsome and has elicited many compliment in just one day. Sturdy and waterproof with a beautiful floor - this shed will no doubt outlast me! This is a GREAT group of folk. On time install, super clean and tidy site, old-fashioned work ethic and best of all - A-Z service. I did not lift a finger - merely observed the construction and paid the bill. WORTH EVERY PENNY! The world of "moving" can be a murky one. Numerous companies pop up and then disappear. Horror stories are legendary. Stuff goes missing or rates become inflated at the last minute. Goods are ransomed until the "baksheesh" is paid! NONE OF THE ABOVE with the wonderful service provided by RAPID STOR. After carefully reading all GOOGLE and HOMESTAR reviews - I sent an e-mail to RUSS at Rapid Store. A very organized and detailed quote was provided and Russ was unfailing polite and responsive to my queries. Move day approached - the truck and lads arrived on time and within 3 hours - it was done. Packed, moved and unpacked! Fast, efficient, and precisely on quote - to the penny. This was probably one of the most pleasant and least stressful moves we have ever done and I cannot thank RUSS and his team enough. I recommend these chaps most highly. If you seek: A professional move with on time service and fixed rates, uniformed & polite workers with a great command of English [no mean feat in this industry], On time Service, no hidden fees and clean equipment - these are your lads. After hearing obvious animal sounds in our attic - we trolled the internet and HOMESTARS looking for a reputable pest control company. There are many operated by dodgy individuals who have much in common with their wily foes in the pest world. We happened upon North Star and were impressed by the reviews so made the appointment. Shakeel arrived on time and was the cheeriest, most upbeat and delightful contractor we have ever worked with. I accompanied him onto the roof and he instantly spotted an entry point where the raccoons had ripped off a vent cover and were enjoying our attic in luxurious fashion. There were piles of racoon dung all over the roof. YUCK. In addition to installing a one-way door - Shakeel suggested we apply wire mesh covers over all of the other roof vents as we noted attempts to rip another one off. We covered them all and after 2 weeks +, no more racoon sounds from the attic. Today he removed the one way door cover - re-installed the vent cover and applied the wire mesh over it. We are now well secured and I cannot recommend this fair, knowledgeable, 16 year veteran of the pest wars - more highly. What a thoroughly unexpected and pleasant experience. He even trimmed off some branches near the roof and re-caulked some roof flashing for me - at zero charge. Now THAT is top quality customer service. Do not even hesitate to give North Star Pest Control a shout if you are bothered by pests. I'd give them 12/10 if I could.

The world of duct cleaning can be murky. There are endless robotic humans calling from places far across the ocean - touting fantastic "specials". Ignore them all. We have been using Prestige, local and Canadian owned, for well over 10 years for our home and for some rental units we own. You get what you pay for. This is a top team of true professionals. Safety, cleanliness and efficiency are their game. They performed work yesterday at a town home where the tenant was complaining of poor efficiency from the clothes dryer. We did a vent clean out and Mark, the Senior Technician noted that the wire screen we had used to prevent birds entering was too small and the lint was clumping & inhibiting the exhaust. He suggested a wire "pest" cover which I purchased - problem solved. They also performed a duct cleaning service. I was delighted with the results. Do not hesitate to use Prestige. I consider them "tops" in this field. Their customer service is second to none& they are not shy to express appreciation for ones patronage. It feels good to be appreciated :) . Thank you to the entire team. I do not hesitate to most highly recommend this company to all.

We have a sizeable pool deck - light grey patterned concrete and about 7 years old. A friend did his deck with amazing results and recommended David of WAMO WASH. This delightful, hard working young man spent hours removing years of build-up, discoloration and crud. Additionally he sprayed 2 outdoor rugs at no extra cost and restored them as well :) We have a ton of trees ringing the pool area. Nice but it takes a massive toll. David brought the deck up to almost "brand new" status and we are overjoyed. Frankly we forgot the original colour. We have seldom seen a young man as diligent and as hard-working as David and we recommend him and his service most highly.

AZI and team are very reliable. Not only do they show up precisely on time but their quote is ok solid. No surprises whatsoever and top notch work. They have performed myriad jobs around our home, the most recent being 2 toilets that needed new flappers. BEST sets a very high standard for quality work at reasonable prices. We’ve recommended them most highly to family and friends and everyone is delighted.

When we moved into our home about 5 1/2 years ago, we had Watermart install a 5-stage reverse osmosis filtration system. Why? We love the taste and didn't want to be purchasing bottled water (I read about a study that has found plastic particles in 90% of bottled water tested. Yuck!) At the same time Watermart also ran a line from the system to our ice maker so the ice is filtered. We have always been very pleased with the service Watermart provides and look forward to many years of our working relationship. We wouldn't hesitate recommending Watermart to anyone.

We just received 2 tables back today. A Harvest-style kitchen table and a 150 yr + family heirloom dining room table that seats 16 + people! Reviews are spotty on some websites so I had some misgivings. The dining table was of great emotional significance to us. A childhood table from South Africa - it was gifted to us 27 years ago as a wedding present from my late parents. Over the years - and through climate changes from Africa to Canada - it has been badly battered. Scratches, heat, warping and fading. 4 massive leaves, an old crank system and many decades of wonderful memories swirled around this table. My Father's wish was always "when we could afford it" to have this table restored to its original grandeur. We finally took the plunge and the older sales man - David - did a great job convincing us that 5K would be well spent on this big job. And they would refinish the top of our kitchen "Harvest Table" as well. The big day arrived and the 2 tables were returned TODAY. WOW! The dining table is nothing short of magnificent! This huge beast is so beautiful now - nary a heat or scratch mark/ missing chunk of wood/warp/any damage visible. Beautiful rich even colour tone across the table + leaves. Formerly faded legs - rich and full again. We are over the moon! The kitchen table looks brand new! It had been faded and scratched by raising 3 kids and now looks as lovely as the day we purchased it. TMC, Tino, Restorers, Delivery Chaps and Team - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I am a fan and could not be more pleased. My wife actually had tears in her eyes as she looked at the dining table. We could not be more pleased. We did a top to bottom renovation. KJ Harwood re-did all of the stairs in magnificent solid oak. They did 3 levels of flooring....and a number of smaller jobs to finish off the project.n The work was superb. On time. And most important on budget. This company offers an old school work ethic, super clean job site nd a real joy to work with. The finished product is fabulous and we are delighted. Do not hesitate to use them.n

We had HSE out to do a complimentary check on our 2 x furnaces. A few items were discovered and a report was politely and professionally issued. We proceeded with the work and could not have been happier. What a great group of attentive and professional workers. Excellent service and "on time" and "on budget" work performed. We needed to replace 28 year old skylights and Skylights Unlimited were recommended by our architect. Despite the terrible time of year (January) to do this sort of thing - Skylights Unlimited rose to the occasion. We are appraised of the install date (based on a warmer day) and sure enough - the team showed up and did the work. The site was meticulously clean, the work efficiently and professionally executed and the new skylights look sleek and beautiful. We could not be more pleased with the final "look" and quality of work. Best of all - there were no $ surprises, the quote was firm and a good warranty offered. I do highly recommend them.

We have been using this great family owned business for almost 7 years. We have found them to be responsive, reliable and very caring and professional. They really take action if there are issues and always offer great solutions. This last summer was very challenging especially with crabgrass issues on our grounds. We had a white lounge suite, a white shag rug and a very costly edge to edge wool carpet in our master bedroom done yesterday. All came out magnificently and look as good as new. I cannot speak more highly of 416-SO-CLEAN. We renovated a 24 yr old house and preserved a very expensive 100% wool edge to edge in the master. It was a disaster after the reno as well as a sick dog having stained it in several areas. The team came and did such an awesome job - like a miracle this 24 year old carpet looked new again and stayed clean and stain free! Additionally they gave us 2 bottle of their unique Spot Remover. It is incredible and we cannot live without it. Recently we ran out and we called to purchase more. They would not take any $ and left a pair of bottles at our front door that very evening!!!! With a rash of break-ins in the Thornhill region, we called in Pre-Lock to evaluate and suggest solutions to make the house safer. We changed some locks to better quality units with longer reach into the door frame, installed a special "metal sleeve" on a number of side doors that inhibits "kick ins" and boosted some aspects of the alarm system. At all times we were delighted by the professionalism, clean and speedy install and "on budget" ending of the project. This is a top class, quality outfit and we are all sleeping more soundly thanks to team Pre-Lock. Highly recommended.

After significant research and four quotes we were led to Mayfair by four other satisfied customers who we knew socially. Even so we checked their previous work and did 3 references with Mayfair customers - as this is a massive investment.This is our 2nd pool in 14 years (first was at a previous house) so we could compare experiences. What a joy. From our initial meeting with Russ King (salesman for Mayfair) to all the workers and even the owner Aaron - we were more than impressed with the entire experience: perfectly on time, superb work ethic, on budget and the cleanest pool company ever! This is a family business for almost 40+ years and I have never seen such dedication and pride. Many of the workers are in their 2nd or 3rd decade with the company. Believe it or not - Aaron (owner) did the cement finish of the bottom of the pool HIMSELF! The follow up, the customer service, the training on the remote spa/light/heat system were amazing. Never too much, always available and really quality work. Russ King came back and forth and always with a smile. We are utterly delighted with this fabulous pool and are thrilled that we chose Mayfair. No surprises and even got a small refund at the end as we were able to save in a certain area - a fact pointed out to us by Mayfair themselves. Highly recommended!

We recently purchased and renovated a 23 year old house. Our "regular" carpet guy let us down badly and never bothered returning with a quote so we turned to Homestars. Initially we were impressed by the reviews for Victorious. Mark came over to quote and was so decent. honest and most of all meticulous with his quotation. He explained absolutely everything: the way they work, potential issues, ways to save if carpets were cut a certain way. He was respectful of our budget. Never pushed or tried to upsell us on anything. He gave us a detailed quote. We put in a deposit and the team arrived, on time and as scheduled. I cannot over emphasize what a great job they did. 2 x basement rooms and runners on the stairs (tricky job) from the basement all the way to the top level. The work was beautifully done, super clean, top workmanship and just lovely, friendly and courteous people. You may find these reviews hard to believe but there is a reason this company is so highly regarded. Mark and his team are a joy to work with and I cannot recommend them more highly. Raphe and Yossi are the most delightful, knowledgeable and decent plumbers you will ever meet. I have actually never seen tradespeople enjoy what they do as much as these two! We used them when we gutted and renovated from top to bottom, a 23 year old house in 2013. They: relocated and installed a new water heater. Did all of the plumbing for a massive new bathroom, installed dishwashers, taps and toilets,. They did all of the initial "rough" work and the "finish" work. Always on time, super clean workers and very fair in billing with stated hourly rate and clear quotations for the work. I never seek "deals" or take shortcuts when it comes to plumbing. After a search on Homestars we called Mike of Best Fence (prompted by great reviews) who showed up on time and impressed us with his nice nature, professionalism and most of all knowledge of regulations regarding pools for our area (Thornhill). He made some great suggestions and after selecting the style, promised us a written estimate within 48 hours. 24 hours later the estimate was in. We had sought several other quotes through recommendations. Two failed to show. One showed but never sent a quote. The pool company's guy said: I do not really do fences so try someone else as I will be expensive. We called Mike and gave him the green light. Offered a deposit to get it going. "Do not worry - give it to me when we come to put in the posts next week." Posts were installed on time as promised. We then told him we needed the rest done sooner than anticipated due to an inspection. "No problem" said Mike. "We will be there next Tuesday." (a week later). As of writing - Mike has just finished installing a top quality fence, done magnificent work and we are ready for inspection. WHAT A DREAM TO WORK WITH! Thank you Mike. We have already alerted Mike that in the Spring we will use him to add on to the older wood fence that came with the house. Do not hesitate. We recently renovated a 23 year old home from top to bottom. Edson did all of the hardwood and laminate work. What a joy. From timeous and accurate quotations to superb and on-time install it worked like a clock. I have never seen such clean workers. Each day dust and mess was vacuumed up and tools were laid neatly aside. Work was done on budget and on time. I even got refunded for material that was not used. Highly recommend this wonderful family-run group.

The team came out and installed various devices to protect entry doors from being kicked in. We upgraded the current locks to top of the line MULTI LOCK sets. The work was done neatly, on time and on budget. These are top professionals and a pleasure to deal with. Will recommend them and use them again without hesitation. Class act.

What a fabulous experience. Mr Stern arrived on time, did super work in a timeous manner changing out 2 x toilets, replacing a faulty fill valve and installing an automated toilet seat. He then checked to make sure everything worked, showed us everything and explained the various functions then cleaned up after himself. You would never know he was here for 3 hours! Frankly the very best plumbing experience we have had in 20 years. Very highly recommend Levstein & Stern plumbing. PS He even hauled out the old toilets and put them in the van!
