JBS Interlock Location: Tiny Township / Lafontaine Ontario performed work: September 16 to November 19, 2024 My wife had read a published interview with JBS Interlock in the June 2024 edition of Neighbours in the Heart of Tiny, and immediately brought it to my attention, as we were planning a significant interlocking job at our residence. As we are very large supporters of local entrepreneurs, we immediately contacted the owner for an on-site visit and quote. We were very impressed with his interest and that during his visit, he immediately pulled out his measuring tools and gave us a ballpark estimate. We hired him, without considering any other contractors, and looked forward to him starting. That was one of our very best decisions. The owner invited us to visit his paving stone supplier, where we selected the two paver-types that we wanted. On arriving his first day, all the way up to concluding this job, the owner performed the various steps from removal of our existing 35-year-old interlock bricks, and a portion of concrete slab, up to installation of the new pavers, with the utmost care for our property. We had additional contractors performing other jobs simultaneously, and he coordinated with them, to ensure they worked in concert to avoid any roadblocks. We were greatly impressed by their attention to detail and accuracy, as well with his superb job ethic and commitment throughout. We had introduced five additional changes, and he accepted each with no hesitation. Having had the pleasure of JBS Interlocking performing our interlocking job, we are extremely happy, and our expectations were greatly exceeded. We also recognize that we have made a new friend with the owner, and we sure hope that his interlocking business flourishes in the future. Walter, the owner came by, assessed our shower faucet issue and immediately determined what the problem was. We received the parts from American Standard and he very promptly fixed our faucet. Walter is a fabulous plumber, all the while explaining what our issue was and how it would be resolved, and it was. We are extremely happy with his work and highly, highly recommend him for any plumbing issues that any home owner could ever experience. I requested the maintenance visit for my furnace at my cottage in Tiny Township to occur on sun.sept.28 between 12;00 noon and 4;00pm. I waited and received a call at 3:30pm from Marko the Direct Energy tech that he was still in Barrie, and that I would need to reschedule.On Mon.Sept.29, I received an email that I was rescheduled (without my acceptance) for Wed.Oct.1. I called back and rescheduled for sat.oct.4 for 4:00pm to 8:00pm. The tech arrived at about 4:30pm. He did not ask to see my thermostat (which in his report says it's NOT programmable.....it is programmable). He completed his work within 1/2 hour and quickly left.....was he in a hurry ? I can't say I'm pleased with the amount of money that I pay for maintenance annually on my HIP plan, only to be dicked around with scheduling and techs who either don't keep their sceduled appointment times or are in a big hurry to get in and out.

10 Stars again!! My Mother who resides in Scarborough needed a new roof and of course we went directly to Advanced Roofing, since the first two roofs we have had done with this company over the years were 10 star quality. We contacted Kevin Morris who very promptly returned our call, made a house visit same day, and assisted with shingle selection - even dropping off samples to my work location and voila! Roof went up the very next week and we got a quality job that looks fabulous. My Mom is thrilled. Thanks to Kevin for his understanding and responding to our needs, and to the crew who were at the site on time and did a great clean up job as well. Note to Terry Cord: These 4 individuals in your company are definitely model employees and very obviously believe in, and practise your key goal: DrainWorks® is a company obsessed with solving plumbing and drain problems and providing customers with a level of service most consumers don't even know exists.
