As my regular guy was out for the holidays, I was searching for some help with replacing my water mixing valve.
Got a call from them immediately after setting up the project. I was made aware of my options very clearly upfront and explained what was going to be involved. Although I didnt want to take the first option, I gave an appointment anyways and continued to sieve through the other companies that called me. Glad to know that I had a good baseline to fallback, and boy are there shady businesses out there who just want your money - dont get me wrong, they might do a killer job, but if theyre not thinking in your shoes or wearing a customers hat, youll end up shelling out more cash for a similar quality job. I recommend them 100% . Even the aftercare tips were so promptly provided and the overall job was so well done, only time will tell if there were any missing gaps (Im certain there wont be any)

I hired Essential Plumbing (Bruce) to install a water softener and dishwasher. Bruce requested for some information about the space where the water softener is to be installed and explained what needed to get done and their rates. As he was installing the dishwasher, he flagged some electrical items in the kitchen that were only roughed in by the builder and provided me with an electrician to contact who assisted in getting the electrical outlets ready in a very short timeframe. It would have become an issue with the oven installer if the electricals were not ready. He also flagged that there was a part missing from the water softener and that one of the parts was defective. He explained and discussed the issues with the supplier and that they should address these without further cost on my end. The supplier agreed to provide a service call the following week. Glad that Bruce paid attention to a lot of details and provided recommendations that proved to be very helpful. Excellent customer service and I will not hesitate to hire them again.

Bruce reached out to me homestarts when I posted the ad and was straight forward with the time and cost of doing the installation of two handheld bidets. He arrived within the time window and was able to quickly and effectively finish the job within the time he mentioned. He was also happy to provide some consultation on few other plumbing related questions I had around the house. Would definitely be working with essential plumbing in the future.

There was a drainage problem from the kitchen to the laundry room to the out take pipes to the road.
Bruce worked a long time getting it unclogged. The drain pipe design is problematic and not easily changed. But he gave us good suggestions as to how to keep this from recurring.

My toilet was very loose and they had to take it off and had to fix it. They did a great job and very friendly

After several months of consistent issues regarding our toilet we decided to hire Essential Plumbing to do an inspection.. it was suggested that the toilet be replaced and an estimate was discussed.. On the day of installation the person who did the work was very clean and professional and even called a few days later to ask if there were any concerns... I would choose this company again if any Plumbing is needed...

Work was done in a timely and professional manner. Very tidy and respectful of our home. We have used them on several different occasions and they have gone out of their way to solve any problems. We would highly recommend them.
